No no, you’ve demonstrated yourself you don’t understand how dual specs work, or the basics of the talent system and the scope of places people might want to dual spec.
Pointing that out is merely stating a fact.

Adding you to that ignore list too since you’re just as repulsively inflammatory as the other doofuses for no other reason than that it seems fun for you to be a contrarian.
You’ve never made a single effective point, you’ve never intelligently comprehended anything anyone ever says to you. The framework of the many responses and explanations you’ve been given dwarves your capacity to interpret information, and you’re at a road block where you can’t cross the gap.
You are no longer a relevant respondent worth engaging.
LoL so pointing out that you don’t even know the basics of how dual specs works means I’m a troll.
Sorry that you lack the knowledge and or imagination to understand how 2 specs is hardly the same as being able to switch on the fly to cover any situation. Or to understand that some people do more than just raid.
You used that word (owned), and I don’t think you know what it means. Nor logic and facts either lmao.
when dual spec first came out, didnt you need to be in a major city or rest area to even switch specs? if so, that means you would hearth or take a portal to a major city and respec. how is that different from now? still gotta go to a major city and pay a trainer. i think this is how it should be. gotta respec? go to a city where you are rested and boom! you may switch.
Quiet you, dual spec clearly works exactly the same as retail specs and you can just switch anything you want anytime.
Is it that hard just to wait for Classic Wrath? I don’t think many would argue that Dual Spec would be better for the game as a whole - given the current player base, but at least give TBC a small bit of dignity that it deserves.
oh…i see wut jew did thar har har har
wait…so you are telling me there’s people in this thread who think dual spec is how it is in retail currently now? ha!!! it all makes sense now…
it was for the ones asking for HvH BGs the flood gates have been open!
False.
Once you setup your two builds, you could swap between them anywhere you pleased. You can google this of course, if you actually cared about not spreading misinformation.
OMG in over 17 years on the forums I seriously do not think I have ever seen anyone as drama queen as this.
As far as I can tell, each xpac had defining characteristics. Dual Spec was one of Wraths. Just like that Housing thing with the follower table defined which ever one i dabbled in. Just like Pandas defined another. You can many things and add it to TBC with little impact.
But it’s really too bad what people are trying to turn even the currently warped form of TBC into. And the sad fact is, I’m not even a super fan of TBC to begin with. Yet I’m defending it because the game was one of the best ever and deserves to keep some form of its original.
Edit: I planned on playing TBC as a tourist. I can’t say i got sucked in, but the current guild I’m in made it fun. That being said, I set my expectations. I didn’t expect to raid or do a lot of things because i knew i wouldn’t have the time. So rather than try and change the game to my own selfish desires, I just had to deal with it.
did you read my post? i asked a question. you could have just said it didnt work like that and not be a dbag. i didnt know asking a question spreading mis information. then maybe if they added dual spec, make it to where you HAVE to be in a major city…
Make it also cost 50g to do and I’m totally fine with that.
so explain HvH pls…it wasnt in TBC
at this point, sure F it…if that makes you happy im all in!
Yeah…a lot of us also don’t want HvH either…that isn’t even in retail…
And if it were up to me, i wouldn’t have added it either.
Most people would be totally fine with requiring it to be in a city and adding a cool down, because despite what some people want to pretend noone is looking to switch specs every pull.
The use-case is minimal and insignificant (in regards to people who all the sudden become LFG benefactors with their tank/healer 2nd specs).
Plenty of people actually pay the cost and do it just fine the way things are right now, so given that the cost is reasonable, why have others been able to manage fine while you think the game needs to be bent around your lack of ability to do so?
