I read through the RAF page again, and don’t see a requirement for a game purchase (just game time purchase). I’m not in game tonight to see if there is additional information with the interface.
I’m thinking a solo player just needs to have their RAF account (or actual friend) have an active sub with the free base game up to SL. Maybe someone (or Blizz) can correct if wrong.
Can you still RAF yourself like before years ago I did that for couple of the mounts…can I still do that now?
I already have 7 accounts on my bnet account, how many can I have?
Honestly, I bought the DF expansion… made my Dracthyr… got through the starting area… but I just don’t seem to have the willpower to log on and play WoW. I’m just not connected to the new expansion storyline I guess. I don’t know anyone else who still plays WoW.
You can RAF yourself.
You can have 8 wow accounts per battle.net account.
The 50% xp bonus is still not a thing (so Blizz should really edit that bit out, or preferably put it back in 
).
RAF without the xp bonus is pointless.
Not if your RAF yourself now…I have done it before and never really leveled any of those characters I made for RAF…that is all they were there for was to get the mounts and then go bye bye …
do your recruits only show up if they are subbed?
had a friend recruited but shes not on my list anymore. im pretty sure she is subbed too so it’s weird.
They have to use the code for their acc or something that links bnets.

No if i recall they unlink after a few months or something like certain lvl, or you can unlink in bnet. Think link was more to do with xp bonus for grping.
I’m sorry for your divorce. 
You get unlinked after they have paid for 12 months of subs. You can’t summon after 3 months (I am pretty sure).
You can also unlink on purpose in the in-game RAF tab.
So if I recruit a friend. and they pay for a year sub…do I get all of the good stuff at once or do I painfully have to wait for each month. Because I would think a year sub would be better for u.
You have to wait each month for total of 12 months…not sure if you can do the new year long sub now…I do know you can do the 6 month ones and get them faster that way…
I have a hard time understanding why the OLD stuff was removed.
Adding new things? Entice players to recruit NEW friends and earn NEW rewards?? Makes PERFECT sense.
But… it’s not like the old rewards take up inventory space in a warehouse somewhere. Why are they gone? Why not let us keep earning rewards if the people we brought to the game STAY in the game?
This is an especially sore subject to me because I brought 2-3 friends back to the game THE SAME MONTH that they retired the old stuff. This feeling of “omg I JUST MISSED IT” … really, reallllllly sucks.
And the only thing worse than how bad that sucks, is knowing there is no damn logical reason to remove that stuff.
Cmon Blizz. Bring it back.
They really need to quit this junk. It’s pretty clear how common it is for people to just recruit their own alt account for the rewards, which really just makes stuff like this a $200 transmog set.
Blizzard knows this and is totally okay with having a $200 transmog set that they don’t catch flak for leaving at that price.
I have a couple of questions concerning the Refer A Friend (RAF) program:
If I’ve recently recruited my friend and they paid for a full year, and I received my first reward (Riki, the monkey pet), am I locked into the current reward track?
If someone recruited a friend and they are paying monthly, are they locked into the current reward track?
In either scenario above, would the recruiter have the option to select from the either the current reward track or the new track on their earned reward date?
Finally, I recruited my friend with the expectation of the current track options and would like to see that through. Especially given the really exclusive airplane mounts and transmog options. While I haven’t seen any new option, (if there will be new rewards) perhaps having the option to select a new reward instead of game-time would be a great idea.
I had RAF with another account that was disabled and no longer on my list recruited friends anyone know why?
Yeah, the rewards are garbage. Who wants to run around like Indiana Jones? Archaeology is dead. j/s Nothing interesting about it anymore. RAF gonna end up being haven’t played in 3 months eventually
I am hoping that the current recruiters can choose to either select the current or new rewards option as my friend just subscribed for 12 months a few months ago and it will take quite a few more months before all of the rewards are collected.
