A person sent me a recraft order for a shield. With the mats provided and my insight, my total skill for the craft is 370. The base difficulty of the shield (Primal Molten Defender) is 280. They are using a concentrated infusion (+50 difficulty), rank 3 missive (+15 difficulty), and the food embellishment (+25 difficulty) for a total of 370 difficulty. However it says I don’t have the skill to craft it at max rank, which I should (372 skill vs 370 difficulty). Looking at the difficulty, it says 425 and the tooltip states (280 base + 145). it definitely isn’t +145 difficulty with the mats

EDIT: also note that it shows the result of the craft will be ilvl 402, which is completely wrong with a concentrated infusion. It isn’t just a display bug, the interface greys out the “recraft” button because it thinks I don’t have enough skill.
Its insane… we are beta testing this new crafting system, it had so many issues already and it got worse since the big patch.
This new crafting system been broken 53 different ways since day 1, INSANE
We all loading into PTR servers by mistake or something?! THE HECK?!
I’m having this same issue. Its including overwritten elements in the crafting difficulty.

That is uncalled for Krysiko, I had to scroll waaaaaaaaaaaay down to find this thread. I’m just saying that is probably an indicator that it might be limited to certain professions, he is a blacksmith and I’m a blacksmith, what profession are you ?
Nah not uncalled for this crap been broken 53 different ways since the start we beta testing this garbage and instead of fixing serious bugs they come with cosmetic updates and patches.
-Re-Crafting skill/insp all messed up
-Public crafting order counter all messed up
And even worse the re-crafting is totally messed up, get an order for a 418 infusion craft > craft Rank 4 - 415 > recraft Rank 5 - 392 the 418 infusion just disappeared, happened 3 times yesterday, stopped crafting cuz people think they getting scammed…
Then make a different thread for those issues, we’re here trying to provide information for THIS bug, and you didn’t answer the question about which profession you’re having the issue with. That MIGHT be an important detail.
Possible it is an added enchant to the item? My crafted shield is not giving the issue, but my weapon is with the frost enchant on it.
it is a display bug still. Just worked with a BS to get around it. Select lower quality, he was able to proc it right back to a rank 5 despite it telling him the false requirements. So he took it from 399 to 405 by my sending it to him as a rank 3 requirement. The issue was sending it as rank 5, was telling him he was not high enough (despite him being maxed in hammer and sword with a 42%).

100’s of topics have been made for all these bugs already, and i will keep posting them in all the crafting bug topics until blizzard gets their heads out of their asses.
Just pointing out that is NOT UNCALLED for as you mr white brown nose knight says, due to there being SOOO many other SERIOUS bugs with crafting.

And FYI i have ALL profs they all have the issue because it has nothing to do with the actual profs… which also makes sense… #clueless
I talked to a inscription staff specialist and they said they have no such issue, so it seems to be localized to blacksmithing maybe?
Leatherworker having this exact issue right now.
Original boots had a T2 Embellishment on them, I told the client to add a T3 to make the craft easier, and instead it’s adding the additional 25 Difficulty on top of the base.
