Reasons why gnomes are cool?

Exactly, and the worst hair options.

You know what? That’s a fair evaluation, and I will concede that point. My DH definitely didn’t change much with the new customization because there wasn’t much to it.

I mean, I can also add that Tauren, Troll, Worgen, and KT Druids almost entirely have Night Elf armor sets. That’s an issue that goes far beyond the Blood Knight set.

My issue is Belves got two racial quests/armor before Trolls, Forsaken, Night Elves, and Draenei got theirs. And I’m still miffed that a very Forsaken focused quest line rewarded Elf customization and nothing else for them. That felt almost insulting.

More than male Void elf ones?

They came with an explanation:

They’re so you can play a High Elf. Same way you can play a Forest Troll or a Wildhammer Dwarf.

It doesn’t mean anything in game.

I don’t think any Allied Race got any development.

I guess there is an argument about the fact that Alleria shows up, but Alleria and Vereesa still basically rep High Elves. I don’t ever see Alleria and think, “Oh the Void Elf boss.”

That’s Umbric to me.

Mmm. How much lore does any race have? I guess Draenei have seen a lot of development over the expansions… and Night Elves.

Shadowlands kind of obliterated any lore development for anyone that weren’t Night Elves and that’s because they had to fix their BFA mistake.

I’m not trying to look like a Warhammer Dark Elf, so I need some more hairstyles on Void Elves.

I couldnt find gul dan gif so this will have to do.

Please, even with the tentacles they are better. Our range is from Legolas to Goku with one decent hair style and for some reason 80’s man.

Disagree. There are like two male hairstyles that are good if you’re not trying to look like you’re a reaver.

:joy: If you don;t like them we’ll gladly take them off you mmm tasty hairstylesss :smiling_imp:

Uhh, this is a joke btw. I love male Blood elf hair tho, I really do ^^

Here you go.

I can’t abide the gul’dan gif not being used…

Void elves are taking everything else, why not?

This is what i think of the belves, void elves have better hair options imo. Even though i dont play elves.

Velfs have holes in the parts where the tendrils are missing :<

I actually like the male hair overall… I say on a bald velf…

The ability to turn off Entropic Embrace.

Maybe its me being weird
But while i see it as them saying theyre RP options
I wish it included those learning the void
We know nothing

Some did like nightborne and dark iron
But at least they had story that existed before
We have lots from being high elves but the way the void effects us has been very ignored

All core races i could write a 20 page essay on

Yeah, but that means that High Elves would be learning the void, which would make them void elves sort of. Which isn’t what they did.

blizzard made a choice, they could add a High Elf race slot, or add the customizations to Void Elves. They added the customizations to Void Elves, but now there are the logistical problems with that and the requests that come from it.

“Male” is a strong word for it.

I think that whole thing is an apology for the lackluster customization pass and having almost everything shared across faction, and the fact that the iconic Blood Knight set is basically inaccessible while the Alliance themed Paladin aesthetic sets rain from the sky. Another example of Horde bias.

As I said earlier, the armor set recolor probably took an intern a half hour or less to move a couple of sliders to change the huge, saturation, and value of the existing armor textures to make these new recolors. I’m literally getting a degree in 2d and 3d art, I’m in a position where I know how long it would take.

If they set it up right (where all the UVs for the set are laid out in a grid with slices and the masking layers for the different colors cover all the elements) it could boil down to minutes of work so simple that I could teach a ten year old to do it. Literally, move 3-6 sliders (1-2 per color, one for hue saturation value, one for brightness and contrast), save as for web (legacy) export all slices. Pick a directory, hit ok. Done.

That said, I do think everyone should have heritage armor done and it’s pretty unjust that it hasn’t been addressed.
