I wish Blizzard would add a questline where all remaining high elves choose a faction and they split to join the ranks of the blood or void elves and canonically no longer exist as a separate faction.
They wouldn’t have to change anything since we already have the customization options, just add the questline.

Simpler solution is to rename void elves high elves it’s sad blizzard destroyed the void elves.

I never said they weren’t. I said high and blood are the same thing regardless of eye color. The only exception is void due to thier void infusion.

Hypothetically if that even happened then horde would need another race to keep a balance between how many races are added.
Thing is though, alliance alligned high elves are less aligned and more alliance leaning. For example its like someone in the middle of republican and democrat. One can be a leaner to one or the other but not be full on either side.

Blood Elves are High elves.
Void Elves are High Elves.

Honestly given how void and light interact with each other, void should have been horde, or lightforged should have been horde.
Having both in stormwind in the same faction is the same as having two 10 kiloton nukes ready to go off at anytime.

I’d even be content with just having the ability to toggle off Entropic Embrace. I don’t mind the DPS loss.
Blizz really messed up with Void Elves IMO, they should have given Alliance High Elves, they could have made them distinct enough, and then added the void thing later.
