but why? why does it need tweaking. the dinar benefits all for of gearing and doesnt need to be tied to m+ only. should it only be in raid and force people into content they dont like to play? or maybe pvp to force pve players into that content? or just give people two of them to use in what ever content they want to participate in .
The reason I suggested the .5 patch is to give players some time to farm Hero Track or Vault. Like you said, people want to feel like they are progressing and I think letting people BiS out too quickly also leads to a faster decline in participation.
I got all Gold during WoD, along with realm best time achievements. Lost the special titles by the end though.
Yes, I wanted to brag about the only worthwhile thing I ever accomplished.
Because I am not sure making m+ gearing even easier is the right call.
Raiding needs its loot acquisition completely over hauled. M+ doesnt.
Its fair if we disagree.
most mythic raiders dont hate m+ from my experience that said you could get it from lower teirs of content which would work fine for most raiders.
Nice, I got them all on gold both MOP and WOD on my Shamanzee main.
Same tbh.
but what negative to this is there? its not specifically for m+ heck you could tie to the weekly quest for all i care. it would be used for all content so it would benefit all people equally. im just not seeing a negative at all.
If thatâs the case then that works.
No need to remove it. Just make it a separate game mode, that way people that enjoy it can still do it but it doesnât impact that rest of the game. Return normal/heroic dungeons to importance and rebalance them as necessary.
I mentioned my solution for this; the dinar gear would be designed to just be stat sticks that is inferior to the actual Hero track drops.
Now how they go about this, I donât know. But from personal experience, my group didnât even make it to the .5 patch before they reached the conclusion that RNGesus wasnât worth their time and they checked out.
This would be an amazing change if it went to mythic track. Trying to keep the best gear out of the hands of most players is one of the main reasons M+ has received so much negative feedback lately. The 8-10 gear void feels so bad. There are weeks when players have full heroic gear, but theyâre stuck running 9âs and the vault ends up being completely useless. Mythic track should be more accessible in M+ and heroic raids.
All of the other suggestions are great.
I hear the feedback and concerns, but the problem is that M+ is infinitely spammable. If it could be upgraded to Myth then people will be BiS by week 2. It would be entirely unfair for raiders who are stuck with weekly lockouts and most of them wonât get 8/8 Mythic vault or drops.
Another thing to remember is that crafting allows players to get 636 by running +8s.
Solid option.
Great post sosari. I know many dislike the idea, but adding a mythic 0 to group finder may help inspire players to give it a go. The level difficulty jump from heroic to mythic is still too steep imo too. I just wish it was a bit more approachable for players who are interested.
A small difficulty adjustment at the start and a way to get people in would be pleasant. It is almost sort of intimidating as it is if you havenât tried a mythic before and donât have somebody to go with.
What does this even mean?
N/H dungeons were never important. You did them enough to raid, then ignored them.
Why do you want to return to âraid or dieâ and make WoW much less accessible?
Iâm all for M0 being queued. It works because in M0 each boss drops loot whereas M+ is only end-of-dungeon.
What they should really do is remove queued Heroic Dungeon buffs and make it so thereâs an actual difficulty ramp from difficulty levels.
A smoother difficulty ramp would go a long ways.
Remove it entirely from World of Warcraft. Itâs not part of the lore. Itâs a mini game. Make it a mobile game on itâs own.
M+ isnt a mobile game.
Get over yourself.
Good thing we have both now. Delves are the new challenge mode.
I didnât say it was a mobile game. But IMO it should be removed from retail entirely because it has nothing to do with the lore and has created a very negative impact on the game. I said, it is a mini game inside World of Warcraft. Like pet battles. However, I think M+ would be a good mobile game. IMO, this type of gameplay with a timer does not belong in a MMORPG.
