Real talk on "banning" a playstyle

Want to know the funny part? Quest gold will be higher at higher levels so of course prices will continue to rise. That will cause the ignorant to claim that banning GDKPs did nothing, even though prices will increase less than they would have if GDKPs were still allowed.

However, you can’t get people to understand such simple concepts when they are willfully ignorant and plug their ears and say '“nuh uh nuh uh banning GDKPs did nothing” instead of trying to understand facts and logic. No matter what, people like you will ALWAYS ignore the logic behind inevitable price increases to pretend it proves you right.

Gold prices have dropped 50% since the GDKP ban was announced. No more proof is needed, but people like you don’t care about reality.

Before the 8th they will revise their statement to say trading of items or gold for items in a dungeon or raid.

That settles ever purchasing or bartering for any item from the raid.

You understand that GDKP doesn’t magically create gold?

Oh really? I thought a GDKP was some kind of transmutation ritual in which people tried to summon riches from the past.

In reality it’s NOT magic. It’s just simple logic. They increase demand for gold, increasing its value and encouraging a greater number of people to buy gold. Try to keep up little buddy.

It’s a loot system.
It has no bearing on playstyle.

Can do linenclothDKP if you want, I am sure the moderation team is going to be super busy this phase.

“I don’t want to have to use the systems Blizzard included to generate gold, so I don’t care that GDKP encourages illicit RMT activity, I want it.”

Okay bro, but that’s not very convincing to anyone.

Then, be a good players and delete your RMT gold.

Stop using the AH. You’re either giving or receiving RMT gold there.

RMT gold is everywhere. You first.

yeah, my 50 g comes from RTM, you wasted your real money, deal with the consequences!

What part comes next in the reddit script? Enjoying GDKP doesn’t mean someone buys gold.

GDKP ban only hurts losers who buy gold

Yeah, sure there are legally gold farmers who wants to exponents absurd amount of gold in a raid item.

Anyone, you can’t tell the difference.

I never said most people had 100g or more. Read what I write please. I said the rarity of these items alongside the higher average income made the prices insane. Humberts helm was going for 26g on my server. That doesn’t scream RMT to me.

so you’ve pissed yourself over nothing then? inflating a problem that you just admitted isn’t really a problem right now, over the chance it gets worse next phase?

will consumes demand RMT next phase?
will completely optional greens require RMT next phase?

whats the deal? From day 1 to now my server has had a very average gold prices for every “mandatory purchase” so how exactly has GDKP ruined my server?

I’m sure you’ll point to the random forum post that claims they were just in one with bids going into the thousands, but do you have proof of that? and how many GDKP do you think go that high?

the average GDKP was floating around 15-20g depending on the item, with epics going for more. What % of GDKP was littered with RMT? you seem to have concrete sources right? or are you just like the other forum children and throwing a tantrum again?

Good lord one of us is certainly throwing a tantrum, but it’s not me. The GDKP ban is going to result in you needing a therapist from the looks of it. I’m not repeating myself yet again because people like you keep asking the same dumb questions.

what do you really need gold for? A mount 40g, consumables maybe a gold a raid? This game wasn’t designed for GDKPs, or bots, or even hardcore players that devote their meaningless lives to it

the average GDKP was floating around 15-20g depending on the item, with epics going for more. What % of GDKP was littered with RMT?

it was now, when the content is trivially easy to make a group for and none of the loot is bis at 60.

if GDKP had been a thing when things like DFT/MQG started to be available the pots would have been nutty just like they were/are on era or wrath when a game bis (or bis for a very long time) item drops

Congrats, you google Macroeconomics finally and read the first paragraph you could find.

I don’t have to call you any names because you already know what you are.

WoW is a local economy. It’s really not that hard.

all they did banning GDKP is cut the price of gold so now people can buy twice as much for the same price LOL…And instead of GDKP players using their gold in GDKP its just going to inflated the AH prices twice as fast…Congrats you banned GDKP and expedited inflation LOL…

getting rid of the overwhelming majority of why people buy gold is a bad thing

Lol this cope.
