given this back lash i think you’ll see them added back before all is said an done. it took a year but after everyone complained about LFG it got added i suspect this will be no different. Especially since the language used in the announcement sounds rather shaky like their willing to back track on this at a moment’s notice.
What “backlash”? Looks like a handful of people upset because they can no longer P2W and everyone else happy about it.
It was added in the same patch as the original. Also I believe subs and participation tanked afterwards. Perhaps Blizz learned a lesson from that.

Contemplating doing Gnomer parking next to AH telling people I am going to list an item that you will buy and bid that is:
1- Large Quantity currently available
2- Price allows for easy bidding per item
3- Item is the type of item that if you didn’t want to relist and sell now it would gain value long term and be worth more than you got it for today
Then let them know the prices are between X and Y for the first few thousand bid knowing you could spend that.
bid out all the items then tell people what item they are buying after and have them trade it for gear.
Stay seething.
Blizzard has openly said they have methods in place to detect you trying to circumvent the rules, and that you will be banned.

GDKP does not delete gold, it just transfers it from one player to another. Its noy a gold sink unless itz a vendor item.

Blizzard also announced a huge ban wave of bots/gold seller accounts and new tech that would keep them at bay in phase two. Meaning the sites want to dump their gold now before they get banned.
If this was really about GDKPs you would not have seen the price drop until the 8th Since GDKPs are still allowed in Phase 1, and it is only once phase 2 launches that they are outlawed.

You realize that the gold used in gdpks isn’t “dumped” right? It’s not a gold sink… In fact it likely makes inflation far worse cuz it gives way more people absurd levels of bought gold. Which means instead of having 1 person using bought gold on whatever they want, maybe driving up the prices on a few things you now have 5+ people using bought gold on a large amount of things driving up the price on EVERYTHING.
