Its not grieifing. Theyre permitted to roll in gear that dropped from a kill they participated in.
Unless youre sitting there simming everyone who wins every roll??
Because dropping 10 ilvls on a piece of gear with the wrong secondaries for the piece with the correct one is an upgrade. And itll probably increase my overall DPS more than the 13 ilvl gain would increase yours.
You lost a roll. Youre upset, questionably ut understandably so i guess. And instead of accepting the facts, youre weak of mind and have to lash out with false accusations and projection of lack of moral compass and a feeling of entitlement.
You lost a roll dude. You didnt win it. Even if the 480 guy who won the roll wasnt there, and in place of him was someone who was 424 and “totally deserving and needing” of the loot…you still wouldnt have gotten it. So whats it matter WHO got it. It wasnt you and thats all that matters
I see how my wording would cause confusion, but it is not “100% incorrect”.
You cannot need roll on cloth as a warrior.
You absolutely cannot roll on a duplicate piece of gear for something you already have unless it’s an upgrade in some way.
If two of the same item drop you can need roll on both, but if you win one it will remove your roll from the other. Which is the same as if you never rolled need on one of them.
Yes, I understand the differing item level tracks for items. Maybe it is a bug, I’m not sure. Either way it already happened and at this point i’m sure there’s not much to be done.
So, if you’re correcting yourself, you’re correct about same item at lower level, but you absolutely can roll on veteran bracers X f you have champion bracers Y.
Would it be a nice gesture to pass loot that is actually an upgrade to those that need said upgrade? Sure. But no one is obligated to do so. Also, gear upgrades are temporary. Transmog is forever.
Why do you think this is about me and what I feel I deserve? Did I say it was about me losing a roll? You’re projecting. Numerous people rolled that all needed the item in question, the person that rolled had literally the same item but a higher item level/greater difficulty track.
If I were talking about trinkets I’d have said trinkets. Armor is armor. Weapons are weapons. The definition of armor≠trinkets. You came to this thread looking to pick a fight, and now you’re attempting to argue semantics. Pathetic.
