If only that magical day the off spec dude in a pug WC would have said “hell no!” to tanking. Or…pay me 25 gold and you got it.

RDF does not “force” anyone to use it and if you do…you know what may or may not be the situation.
LFG is closer to “force” than,rdf. It limits players available, at certain levels, instances and times. Not to mention the gear scores, achievements, and reserves of the best loot.

Except the bonus rewards tied to it that you have to use rdf to grt and have no other option but rdf to get them.
Remove ALL the bonus rewards from rdf and i would support it being added. Because then it is actually optional.
So no bonus after finishing the dungeon, no teleport, no luck of the draw buff, no bypassing lockouts, exc.

why can’t the bonus rewards be tied to just tanking or healing a dungeon whether you walk in or queue in? this is a strawman argument you seem to like those.

Because at that point, the game is literally doing everything for you. That’s basically the same as the LFG tool. The only difference is instead of players reaching out to each other to form the group, the game just shoves them together.
Exactly how things work for PvP…

i mean if you want to devolve it down to that then thats your fault. half the time i log in and just want to do a dungeon. if anything i log in do dailies log if its raid night i show up. other than that i don’t do anything else. because getting a dungeon set up is painful.

Benediction. morning noon and night i’ve experienced it all. Raids, Dungeons, even some quests. it can be especially painful on leveling an alt doing dungeon quests or even world quests. and no i’m not referencing the replacements for dailies.

So why do people have to waste thier playing time to spam in chat to form a groups? When that time could be better spent doing things in the world, as it ORGINALLY was. Closest flight point dalaran guess where we sit? To spam in chat.

Yeap. And you can also do a premade group in BGs. Tell me, when you make a premade BG group do you all just say “sup” and then never talk again like in your dungeon groups? Or do you get in discord and communicate?
When you que for pug RBF how is the chat in your battlegrounds? Nice and friendly? Communicative? Or is everyone calling each other dummy heads?

Nothing is stopping you from making your own “premade” for dungeons even if RDF is added. No one is advocating removing the LFG tool. If you feel that a majority of people would prefer not to use RDF then you should easily be able to continue to find groups in LFG or schedule with your friends.

You can quest in the world while you’re in the LFG finder. It doesn’t take that long to type a message or use a macro with a pretyped message of what you are looking for.
To be honest, I completely forgot there was a LFG channel tied to the LFG tool until you just mentioned it. I’ve never needed to use it in Wrath. The LFG tool alone has been more than enough to just see players and message them directly.
You can quest in the world while you are in the RDF tool and not be gate kept by people who don’t like your class/spec or don’t want to compete with you on gear.

Nobody is gatekeeping in this game, least of all for 5 man dungeons.
Really different groups do different things. There can be always be examples of anything, with any groups of people.
You go to football game and it might be cool or there might be fights…weather you bring friends or not.
Just give rdf for 1-70. Everyone wins. Nobody is running dungeons for lower levels, cant even find a group for 40s on benediction ally side right now using lfg tool.

Because everyone else’s experience is the exact same as yours…
PvP is different and you know it. You’re just being difficult and fighting for another excuse.
Would you like to have Blizzard take the auto que out for pvp to make it fair? The reason pvp is different is because you need to join a clean playing field AGAINST the opposite faction that you can’t communicate with. How would you prepose to get your Arathi Basin set up when half of the required players can’t even talk to you?
5 players do not need to communicate to Loken that they are full and ready to enter the dungeon now.
