If Random Dungeon Finder was released next Tuesday, with Normal, Heroic, H+ and H++ queuing options, would this be something you’d support?.
I for one would love if it was released early, I can’t really see any downsides to be honest

I would love them to do it But I don’t think it’s going to happen Same thing with all the quality of life stuff account wide mounts and what not.

Is the ptr still up? If it is i doubt it will be released early. I would support early release but only with normals amd heroics active. For those lvling alts.
Heck, I wish they had released it alongside the JJ’s return.
…AV gets boring after like the 500th time; across multiple lvl 53+ alts.

you say that now, but i see the quality of players who pug heroics late at night, yikes. Its one thing to get stuck doing a faceroll normal heroic, but +++? im gonn have to form 2-3 people first before joining RDF without winding up breaking my back carrying npcs.

they still need to test RDF, rdf is coming to ptr for testing in 10days so it can’t be released next Tuesday.

Given that the ICC dungeons had a minimum ilvl higher than other Heroics in OG Wrath, the requirement to queue for Gamma is probably going to be decently high enough.
The main stress issue is probably going to come from skips vs no skips.
Since they didn’t add any mechanics to the ICC dungeons but they give gamma loot, I’m guessing they’re aimed at the same item level, which is 219+. And at least for now, every boss in the ICC dungeons is dropping a Defiler’s Scourgestone, so hopefully that will cut down on people wanting to skip to last boss.
Blizzard has been super slim on details, the base line ICC heroics were 219 back in the day. But they’ve said there will be gamma versions of them, no new mechanics but uptweaked damage/health so presumably those would have a higher ilvl req.
But we just have to wait till it’s on the PTR since blizzard is allergic to communicating with the community.

Yeah that’s fair, nothing is set in stone. But, they can’t set the requirement much higher since like Zaalg mentioned, they drop 232 gear.

That seems to be for other dungeons, pretty sure they announced that the ICC dungeons would have gamma versions but there would be no new mechanics for them.
From everything I’ve seen so far, all they’re doing is adding the gamma loot table on top of the standard loot for the ICC heroics. They aren’t getting gamma versions themselves

Yeah at this point I don’t really trust anything blizzard says until it’s in game or least on the PTR.
You can trust that it’ll be buggy and broken.
