RDF isn't coming to WotLK

You didn’t win jack, but if thinking so is the highlight of your little world…have at it.

Another example why this community is is afraid of rdf.

two things can be true at the same time. your statement could absolutely correct. and so could the paladin’s. at the end of the day i tend to lean toward it being a business decision to keep RDF out. they knew going into this xpac it would cause a ruckus for it not being part of the game, they knew some would not return for wrath with out the full set of wrath features and changes from that xpac. so the wow classic team made the decision to eat the loss on potential returning players. and this is why i see it more as a business decision. the dev team new they would cost blizzard money.

no, what they said is they knew no matter which stance they took of bringing the feature to the game someone would be unhappy. and they appealed to the vanilla classic andies on this one. #NoChanges except the ones i like.

well i can tell you this i’ve been less playing less and less i do maybe 1 day of play on wrath plus servers. with the game in its current state it is not fun. while i don’t think RDF would fix the issue. there are gaping holes in the game that are being left unaddressed by the wrath team. I think RDF not being there is part of the problem. but its not the only problem.

if you’re poor and want an inauthentic wrath experience go ahead and play wrath p.

say’s the person opening insulting people through direct insults. i mean if you’re gonna burn people make it an indirect burn they can’t see or feel foolish about. you’re winning nothing at this point. in fact not a single player is winning. you’ve offered but they did this but they did this. yet look at what blizz is doing. next up on the wrath plus #SomeChanges Tmog, Challenge modes, Mythic Raids, and Scaling Zones.

Theres only been 3 classic releases so far…

Classic
Tbcc
Wotlkc

I cant make experiences for classic expansions that havent happened yet.

Logic isnt your strong point is it?

The dev team was making a decision on Wrath Classic, not Activision Blizzard. The paladin tried to argue it was a business decision because it may have, potentially, maybe, he believed that would affect Activision Blizzards business meaning their bottom line even though that was not a factor in the decision. He then presumed it would be impacted negatively to an extent that would harmful to the company.

If Im in my business and Im making a decision on what to eat for lunch or what printer paper to buy and I use my company card to pay for it I technically made a business decision. I am not making a decision that is going to impact my business. Its the same with RDF.

I cant call that a business decision.

If you could simply just group up with players on other realms but still had all the same logistics, I don’t see how this would break the pillars.

I.E. no auto match making, teleportation, extra lockouts, or extra incentive to use the system.

ah, well i was talking about making those life long besties. yet again another topic change from the i pretend to be dead hunter.

reread what i said. i said it was the wrath team making the business decision. i didn’t say activision blizzard i didn’t say blizzard i said the classic team which translates to the wrath team. so it shows you didn’t read my statement and trying to get a out of context quote. to win a point but you failed. ultimately in the end? does it impact activision blizzard? yes but not nearly enough for them to care. they would just accept that as a standard deviation for their projected revenue. but if they saw half or 3/4 of the subs that play classic just evaporate over night, i’m sure actiblizz would notice and be breath down the wrath teams neck albeit not directly but through the chain of command in this god awful company’s structure.

you can call it whatever you want. and thats fine. but it is definitely a business decision my guy.

If you have to create imaginary things to make a dubious point, you might want to go back to your diary.

Yeah, I would be fine opening up the LFG tool for x-realm players for dungeon content that is dated.

Maybe that is true, but ultimately who cares?!? If I log on to play and I have a desire to run something I’ll check with my guild to see if anyone wants to. If no one is available I can try to find random players, but if I can’t get a group going that sucks. I don’t sit there thinking “I want to run a dungeon though I can’t seem to get a group, but I’m happy knowing the definitions of what constitutes an MMO are satisfied here!!!”

I just want to do the content in a more efficient way. And it’s such easy content we’re talking about, why do we need to add all these extra barriers to entry?

You mentioned expansions…

You didn’t ask how many friends i had that have lasted for all of class. I responded to what you said, based on how you said it.

Without being in game counting, i have around 20-30 friends that i made in classic and still play with. Not all of them are on a weekly basis but still somewhat regularly.

A business decision for a multinational billion dollar corporation might sound something like ‘we’re scrapping the rest of the Warlords of Draenor expansion to work on Legion instead’ or ‘we’re going to develop WoW Classic for the audience that wants it’ or ‘your budget for Dragonflight is 50 million dollars’ not ‘hey guys we gotta nerf mages going into the next arena season’.

Call me crazy.

It doesnt become a business decision because some mages are gonna quit.

So without RDF I just don’t group with people outside my guild…really fosters building a social community on the server…

Wouldn’t RDF lose this poll then?

Unless you’re all just hate playing this game.

yes i did, and i also said in that same breath about carrying those friends over between expansions nice bad faith argument dude.

again, please see my previous statement i said besties. those are not friends my dude, those are acquaintance.

Right, but that takes commitment on your part. If you want to do that content, you’re meant to be putting in the work to get it done. In this game, that means forming a social group of people wanting to achieve a similar goal. If there are as many people wishing to run dungeons at all levels, as claimed by some advocating for RDF, surely you could form these social groups to do so. The ability to do all dungeons exists, you’re just not willing to do your side of the bargain.

Vizantius’s diary would be wild. Probably something reminiscent of Willy Wonky, Alice in Wonderland and crack.

all i read is dismissal after dismissal after dismissal of what anyone suggests against your arguments. what the wrath team did was indeed a business decision again i even admitted it probably wouldn’t impact actiblizzz all that much they’d probably just consider it a standard deviation of what they normally make as in they see it oh well 100k people aren’t subbing 1.5M is an acceptable loss when they make probably 300x that in a year if not more with just King alone. again i admitted they probably don’t care about the money they loss. but it is a business decision not to bring it into the game.

oh great more dismissal arguments and not arguing the facts that are in front of us. the fact is they are giving mythic plus with out being named mythic plus. but i mean “#SomeChanges” are good right? look if you think its out of the question for them to introduce any of what was suggested when they clearly are implementing retail features into wrath. you clearly are just dismissive and this is what they want, but delusional oh look i can play the dismissive game too!!! :D!!! you are delusional.

god i wish i was on crack but i am not. oh and attacks on someone because they disagree with me!!! gotta attack their mental state because they may have an argument that doesn’t line up with mine!!! gotta discredit them!!! thing is, i’d be willing to change my opinion on anything if information lended itself to it. i’d even admitted i was wrong. i got the wild growth being bugged wrong admitted i was wrong. its absolutely an easy thing to do. its actually good to admit when you are legitimately wrong on something. it is healthy. but you’ve never once presented an argument to change my opinion on anything. but you’ve got the iq of 189 and know best for all right? puhlease. just stop.

When I make an argument, I expect a counterargument that actually addresses my argument since that’s intellectually honest debate works.

Usually I get I just get low grade snark and obtuse dismissals followed by disbelief that Im not swayed by “I said its good so its good don’t worry about it”
