Think they just didn’t want to spend the time on those features…they have an aggressive DF schedule to follow. Doubt much more is done with wrath in general.
They’re putting energy into changing P2 itemization and adding a new dungeon difficulty, so it’s not really an excuse. Nobody asked for these things, that’s for sure.
hey i don’t know about all that. but i do think mythic dungeons as they were introduced in WoD were one of the few redeeming qualities of WoD and Timewalking was again another redeeming quality. do i think they should be there? absolutely not. would i deny that there are other QoL or feature sets from other xpacs that were indeed great when they released oh absolutely AoE looting be a key QoL change that i think was great. would i throw a tantrum if tomorrow blizzard wotlkp would be getting AoE looting? no i wouldn’t. do i think it would be the death nail in the coffin for wrath? no. do i think it should be consider for wrathp? no. But these devs are missing the mark on what we wanted from wrath classic. they are absolutely giving a feature to us that no one asked for in heroic plus oh, excuse me mythic plus. they can’t even get basic wrath features in to the game because they are stretched thin on “dev power” behind the scenes. i call bs, on this btw, they just refuse they are participating in breeding a negative culture with in the wrath p community.

sure it is. a new feature that didn’t exist in wrath, nor did anyone ask for. and we still don’t have features from wrath in the game and i’m not talking about RDF. they have gone out of there way galvanize the player base with their the first big topic of wrath plus in no RDF. which really set the tone of the expansion because in that same breath they introduced mythic plus.

Well, im at 3 so far. Have some friends i still regularly play with from classic, tbcc and now wotlkc.

Its evidence that they are more likely to not change their mind than they are to change their mind.
The dev team got to make the call, not the shareholders, not the bean counters and not the paying public.
They came out and said they knew a lot of people would not be happy with the decision. So its not strictly a business decision in terms of making money like you repeated suggested by talking about money, business pratices, player reviews and people quitting etc.
So yes, while like the toilet paper example it was technically a business decision, fundamentally and empirically and backed by a company employee via testimonial it was not a business decision. It was a game design decision and then they gave game design decision reasons for making the move.
If you want to ignore all of that so you can delude yourself into thinking it was nothing but a business decision or that its a business decision of some kind of import with any kind of impact you are free to do that. But you’re not correct about it at all.
BTW- it doesn’t have to be “pure” but stripping big features out, while adding retail features in, is not the wrath experience. I didn’t really care about the additions, tho.
