Well, they were the Vanilla PServer players. Those people only went on TBC and Wrath servers to practice and largely made their own PServers. Hell, a lot of those PServer guilds died in early TBC, they’re Vanilla die-hards

Well, I did ask for links because you claimed there are thousands of articles written during Wrath about how bad RDF is, but I couldn’t find these. Thus asking for a link, and you resorted to saying your guild hates RDF. Which didn’t really help.
I feel like I’ve been responding to most of your points, but I think the best thing you can do if you are genuinely trying to be objective on RDF is to play Wrath to see for yourself the Pros and Cons of it.
I think it’s important to note, Wrath is not Vanilla, nor does it need to be.

You can post links, I do it all the time. For example, here is Lordaeron re-adding RDF after no-RDF flopped. I won’t make you google it, that would be kinda rude.

Compared to EQ and UO? Sure. It was also the end of the MMORPG genre when they added the RDF button. It used to be referred to as the “hot” button back than as many people thought it destroyed their servers community. Nobody knew that with time everybody would try to copy WOTLK/Cata and fail miserably doing so. It’s actually really hard to find an MMORPG as most are MORPGs nowadays like retail and FFXIV
