This just started happening to me about 15 minutes ago, on a toon I had been on for a couple of hours. Once I entered the Zskera vaults (first time for this particular toon, a DH) I started disconnecting every few seconds.
Just started with all my toons that are located in Dragonflight maps. Org seems to be fine and no DC. US-Area 52 and Illidan both dcing me every 30 seconds or so.
Still happening, 7-8h after being posted on forums. No notice of disconnects on bnet app, no notice of a DDoS attack, nothing from blizzard. Just some âweâre looking into itâ tweets that were from 6 hours ago.
Has anyone found a fix? Iâve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, scanning, deleting all addons, but I only get disconnected on my MAIN immediately and not my alts. My alts I can stay on for about 8 minutes before they dc but itâs not nearly as bad as my main.
idk if this means anything but the intervals between the last 4 times I got dcâd were 20 minutes (and before that I wasnât really keeping track). I got dcâd at:

4:19
Iâd stay logged in to see if the pattern holds but there isnât much to do if I can only be logged in for 20 minutes at a time

I had the same issue. It started yesterday on April 18th around 7:30pm EST on the Velen server. I was in ZG and I started to just disconnect every 20-30 seconds. I could then log straight back in only to get DCed again.
I was running a second account on the Argent Dawn server with a toon not in a guild and had no issues at all.
This persisted until I gave up and went to bed around 9:30pm.
I logged in again this morning around 5am EST and still had the same exact issues. Any toon I logged in would get disconnected that was in a guild.
I logged in a toon on Velen not in a guild and was not disconnected. So I think there is âsomeâ merit to the guild thing.
However itâs not 100% because I logged into a toon on Velen that is in a personal bank alt guild and they were not disconnected. This character is level 1 and has never left Orgrimmar. Also the guild has a total of around 4 people in it since itâs an alt guild.
After being on the forums I saw some people were able to fix the issue with a graphics update. Iâm normally not convinced sudden issues like this are solved by a GPU drivers update, HOWEVER nVidia had a GPU drivers update dated April 18th.
After I installed the latest drivers it âseemsâ to have fixed my DC issues. I had to go to work so I couldnât test it beyond logging into a few characters, using a few portals and making sure they didnât DC after 2 minutes.
Like I said I donât think this is the silver bullet fix for everyone, but it seems to have work for me. Hope it helps someone and hope Blizzard figures out exactly whatâs going on.

I tried this but still getting DCed. It seems to hate dragon riding as I get disconnected moments into trying to do a dragon riding world quest
My one toon that wasnt in a guild was the only one i could play last night. My main was able to stay connected (which is in a guild) while we ran an achievement run in vaults but near the end the d/cs started happening again.
Iâm looking for a Blizzard response on this issue, but not seeing any. Now starting to have the same disconnect issue as many others are mentioning. Last update from Blizzard CS on Twitter was ~12 hours ago just saying theyâre looking into it.
still going on. I wasnât able to play at all last night. Log in this morning and still DC every 5 seconds. Great paying for a game you cant play

Proudmoore here and canât seem to stay on longer than 45 seconds at a time. Not able to chat in general, trade, or guild. Also cannot interact with NPCs. Blizz doesnât seem to be mentioning anything about whatâs going on. This is frustrating.
Yeah we get it and all but not everyone uses Twitter and donât even want too.
Itâs not hard to provide update on all media but apparently is.

I cannot believe I pay for this.

Every 30 seconds to a minute on my toons. I may actually be able to do something with a 20 minute window.

Also seeing after searching forums, where I am having this issue is the Eye of Acherus quest.
The post I just found about that exactly was from 27 days ago. How does it it take nearly a month to sort out with no fix?

Mirasolâs correct that weâre investigating this at the moment. The devs would like some connection information for players that are having this problem to see if we can find any impacted nodes on the internet between you folks and us.
Please note that this investigation is specific to players who suddenly started having disconnections yesterday. If you are having longer term disconnection errors this is an unrelated issue and you should start your own thread instead.
If youâre still having this problem, please create a WinMTR test which catches a disconnection. You want to restart the test every 10-15 minutes until you catch one of these problems. Once youâve caught one red handed, run the test for about 5 more minutes. This will let us look for problems between your house and our servers which may cause this.
If you have problems with posting it due to a link error, go ahead and copy paste this into your next post, and replace âWinMTR goes hereâ with your test.

The why makes us feel like we have to install Twitter to see updates or cross our fingers someone reposts here.
Some of these disconnect issues started nearly a month ago ie the DK stat zone.
