You said this:

Yet your quote says that he wasn’t the ONLY opponent of RDF. Do you not see the contradiction here?

Do you understand the word “most”?

Ah, so you don’t. Well you’ve wrecked your own argument at this point. Would you like to give it another go to find your made up quote?

Nope, the link I already provided where he says it was a contentious decision will have to suffice, there’s only so many times I can listen to that dork talk about “I have this funny story from Wailing Caverns where I asked a warrior who joiend if he wanted to tank”.

That doesn’t suffice for me so I will have to discard your argument. If you’d like to backtrack and shift goal posts to “contentious”, I’d be open to it. I think you realize that doesn’t have the same effect as your previous made up claim did though.

I really don’t care mr “look at this financial report and all their glorious WoW classic numbers”.

Yes Jeynar, using a quarterly report is a good way to back up your claims — which you have failed to do here.

Just because you don’t know how to read the reports doesn’t make the data suddenly invalid. That’s not how facts and citations work.

Oh of course you dig in deeper on that

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I am doubting the accouting section separates pure numbers.

Wraths biggest hay day would have been release time. Many like me were still 2 gaming it.

We were not cut and dry numbers. Ion and then Brian were counting me lol.

it was DF that had me go 100% wrath besides my stop off for tendies. Sometimes that trade has some good stuff. I can collect tendies for that. takes a few minutes, I can do that.

Maybe deluxe buys? But even for retail I say, often, show us the subs. Players may buy that 1 month in the DF or Wrath DE package.

Who stays after that month however? The truer test of sub based MMO, imo.

He tried to link it to say how “classic was doing well” and there’s no mention of classic whatsoever.

The only mention of WoW at all is that Dragonflight has decent player retention.

It was incredible stupid and he slinked out of the conversation entirely.

There are no strong communities, they didn’t form in Classic Vanillia, they didn’t form in TBC classic, and they still don’t exist in WoLK classic, just get over it already it’s not going to happen.

Disagree, but they’re still the same they were in the original.

They’re guilds.

When people refer to strong communities, they are meaning server communities, which don’t exist, and havn’t since thottbott meant you no longer needed to ask general where to find mankirks wife.

That quarterly report didnt back up your claims. It just said how much each branch of the company brought in. Branch, not product.

I’ve bounced back and forth on this topic but as the expansion has worn on the more I think the expansion needs RDF, at least for leveling and the normal heroic activity for new players/alts.

Even my more casual guild has dropped off into raid logging as no one wants to be bothered to waste time with the lower stuff and members are tired of questing.

I bought the argument that it made the game more social without it, and in an era when server sizes were limited it may have, but with the player sizes we have today on some of these servers it’s not a whole lot different than having cross realms.

Now I buy not having Titan Rune stuff not being included, but everything else more or less needs it at this point. Metrics have got to be showing the exact same thing they were when they added it the first time.

I survive either way, but it would be a much more enjoyable experience atm with it.

And when a branch is bringing in 20 million with only a few games, what does that tell you about the games under said branch?

This really isn’t rocket science here. Let’s use some deductive reasoning please.

Yes it’s not rocket science that when you only know the aggregate for the group you can’t know how much each individually contributed.

No one has said otherwise. But when a game like Classic WoW is part of an aggregate of $20 million dollars where only a few other games are included, most of which are not as popular on secondary websites such as twitch, Reddit, twitter, etc., then you can use deductive reasoning to deduce that classic wrath has brought in millions over its year run now.

This is what we call using logic and reason.

Okay so you are admitting you actually have no idea what classic brings in vs any other blizzard game.
