But that means they would have to actually do more than log in for raid to have the gold to buy the boe items. Like having to do their icecrown and storm peak quests, the horror!

You forget the actual original request. It was about releasing servers of previous expansions AS THEY WERE THEN. Nobody said we dont want rdf. Nobody said anything other than release the servers AS THEY WERE THEN.
BLIZZ was who decided to add all of the features of the final patch at the launch. All class changes, all nerfs/buffs, all features. The only thing they have gated was the release of content. Meaning certain quests and raids and dungeons. All other features, not content, were either released AT LAUNCH, or we were told they were being delayed becuase they couldnt get them in on time, like guild banks. They didnt hold them back because they didnt originally release in that state. You are either dumb or are intentionally reaching for a very weak argument when you refer to rdf not being originally available at launch.
Bkizz didnt say they are releasing rdf as it was released in original, they said they are not releasing it at all. If you cant understand the difference then just move on and stop making stupid comments.
Again, nobody was asking for rdf to be removed from wrath. NOBODY. Even the ppl that didnt really want it, still expected it to be added because IT WAS IN ORIGINAL WRATH. And we asked for them to release classic servers AS THEY WERE THEN. We would have loved for them to release each patch and the changed that happened patch by patch.

There was no request at all from ANYONE to remove rdf. There was only requests to ADD IT DURING TBC. and at that time, the ppl that didnt want it ALL said the same thing. “WAIT UNTIL WOTLK”. They said that because they acknowleded that classic was supposed to be servers of previous expansions. AS THEY WERE THEN.

To be fair it does depend on your server and on your class And your role I know a holy paladin for example is very easy to do that with.
But that’s not the case with every single class and Spec and yeah I one hundred percent agree with you if blizzard had the wow Token in which is a whole another discussion in itself.
His argument would hold weight but one very quick thing on that I’ll say this if you’re gonna let some people cheat let everybody cheat.
Either way though I 100% agree that’s not a good argument and I still say #rdf

I mean, you can do that, if you really hate playing this game that much that you want to break the rules and spend real world money to skip part of the game…
Although if you feel that is the solution you likely dont really want to play this game that much to begin with.
You’re the one advocating that people should AFK in BG’s to get gear(which blizzard is totally okay with you queueing up for in cross realm system from anywhere) instead of actively playing with 4 other players in a dungeon.

Not once did i say afk for gear. I said you can do pvp, because it is an option for getting some gear.
You may chose to “pvp” by afking in a BG, but thats not what i suggested.
Sure it is when you suggest it to someone who would prefer to not pvp and do dungeons with 4 other players.
You think that guy doing BG’s solely so they can get enough gear to trick GS cares about the BG they’re in?
