Raider IO is infinitely more popular than it is disliked. Blizzard knows that. These forums are the worst representation of what actually goes on in game that I’ve ever seen from a “community.”

You aren’t going to get invited you need to make your own group. You are 435 even a plus 2 is going to have way better people signing up.

Problem is that they want casual content to reward power and to have people not just raid logging. Which ap serves perfectly. So yes it’s understandable why people don’t like it. But I feel we will always have this kind of system we can only make it better.
Unfortunately thats where the game is, devs pushed it that direction, not much we can do about it.
The dreaded elitists will all be venth if they can’t stealth and mdt routes will be made with that in mind.
At this rate, they need to add a couple more loading screen tips:
“If you’re having trouble finding groups, start your own!”
“You’re probably not being declined from groups because of an addon, but because there are a lot of other dps in the queue.”
Ok, maybe that 2nd one is too long…but you get the point.

the casuals who dont even play the content that takes blizzard the most time to design are the only ones complaining. Anyone who is trying to push keys and has common sense knows its just a tool.
its like the same 5 ppl hating on rio every day, the rest of the community acknowledges its a tool and just helps to view someone’s experience.

I’m not saying anything to be mean. It’s just how it is. You’re running a boosted hunter that still has a 390 trinket, a cloak that isn’t even rank 12, and no corruption that aids your dps. If I post up for a key and I see you have a 390 trinket I’m gonna pass on you every time for someone else. I’d get rid of that thing for literally any purple trinket you can get your hands on.

unless you buy a 15 of every dungeon its pretty obvious when someone bought them though. No one gets a good io and gets into 15 groups if they havent cleared every dungeon

I still think there’s a lot they can do without touching raider io.
If they made M+ 0 to M+9 queuable difficulties (or atleast where you can replace people inside) without timers it could work.
I feel the problem is m+ is too big right now when it should be only for the top end.
Then again, why are so many complaining about it? Surely there most be a reason they do ,I mean not everyone is spoiled.

Not even that, if all your record says is Timed +15s: 10+ and virtually no dungeons timed below that? That’s a really obvious carry.

Everyone ok with RIO until they add the ability to see covenant choice under the score, then suddenly everyone will say it’s toxic too.
The issue is, that new/returning players who want to learn mythic+ and have no guild or friends playing are literally not allowed. 2k IO requirement for +5
Make your own group? Everyone just leaves when they see your RIO score still.
Find a guild? Brother, have you tried looking for a guild? It’s all mass invite guilds or a clique trying to fill a roster and they won’t run anything with you anyways.

Raider IO would be quickly replaced by something else that serves essentially the same function in a matter of hours or days if it were to explode.
The community likes it.
If you have the ingame addon you hold Shift while hovering over the player, it will extend their tooltip to show +5-+9s and even +10-+14 numbered times.
On the website you just click the dropdown of each dungeon.
