Raid vs Mythic+ loot tables

no it doesn’t, you’ll just get heroic raid items, which will be better than the M+ rewards

This is still very much a raider only mentality. It will be technically BIS, but you have absolutely no control over working towards this (aside from a weekly check box) - like you do with Raiding.

How is a weekly 213 from heroic in the vault better than a weekly 226 from mythic+ in the vault?

Wait, having 0 chance for a good slot in a raid due to it literally not being on the loot table is now better than being able to get a BiS item from mythic+ through the chest when you can get 1-3 (most people will probably do 2) options?

Answered this previously. What is your dog in this fight aside from griefing those individuals that want to be respected/have representation by the game devs, for content that is both challenging and of personal interest to the community it impacts?

Rings are a special case. And not every spec values 20 lower ilvl rings.

People can discuss things on a public form? I enjoy discussing World of Warcraft as a whole. Having a “dog in the fight” implies a biased viewpoint of the as a whole and would prefer people not try to look at it that way.

Killing the 1st mythic boss will give a group of 20 people 4 drops. It’s also limited to that bosses loot table (which can be good or bad)

Doing mythic+ will give those 20 people 20 drops.

It’s almost like getting 20 item level 226s for your raid is better than 4.

I dont understand why this conversation gets shifted to the weekly chest everytime. The weekly chest has never and will not be the issue.

The issue is the loot dropped by the content. If i am a 220 ilvl geared shaman that wants to run Mythic plus for content i can only get an upgrade throught the Weekly chest. It is impossible for me to go into a Mythic +50 and get a piece that would increase my characters power.

If i take the same situation but for a 220 ilvl shaman that is raiding Mythic content then this person has an option to get an upgrade throught the weekly great vault AND throught his Mythic raid.

This is the problem created by the current system and needs to be fixed.

Also will drop 20 pieces for those individuals the next week (of mythic quality). Not requiring M+ at all (what I believe has been cried for, and answered by Blizzard).

I appreciate that you enjoy talking about the game in a public forum, and my apologies if that was an offensive approach to this. I read your notes as very much disrespectful to a huge portion of the player base, by establishing the general sentiment that Raiding is blanket > than everything else and should be considered as such.

The issue here is moreso the cadence & reward structure of loot. Imperfect 226/223 immediate & target loot opportunities will 95%+ of the time be quantifiable upgrades to equal or semi-equal “difficulty” (read: Glad, or +30 key) gear options (210 max, as established above).

My comment about the dog in the fight was likely unnecessary, but I’m seeing a lot of raiders expressing jealousy & anguish about the potential of good players that dislike Raid drama & organization, to be able to stand on a similar platform. It disincentives gameplay outside of loot window requirements. If this system is fixed, you may see more engagement, and an expanding player base that, who knows, finds their way into raiding or other content anyhow.

You… you never could get an upgrade on a +50 the max has always been +15

Are you trolling?

No because mythic+ should never give the same rewards has raids.

Stop trying to push this stupid dungeons meta only actually some people like.

Why do you feel this way? Historically, BIS is rarely ever raid-only drops. I don’t think anyone is asking for hand-outs, or raid quality-gear for doing overly simple content

I used this as an analogy that even if i was doing content that is on a difficulty that could not be made/completed i would still not be able to get an upgrade, which feels bad.

Yes i am of the idea that gear rewards from M+ should scale higher than +15

Please explain why you should not be able to get Raid equivalent loot from doing High end Mythic plus (top 1%)

because it’s WAY easier to do and plan.

The current requirement to get the first raid based option in the chest is 3 kills, so 3/10 mythic. Which I’m sure will get pugged after a while, but will be months (it usually is several months just for cross realm) for consistent PuGs and due to raid ID lockout all it takes is 1 person bailing after the first kill you’re hosed.

Honestly, it’s easy to get riled up on the forums and I probably should spend less time here. The forums are my “waste time on my phone” pass time like others probably scroll Facebook and Instagram but I would probably be better served just putting my phone on the other side of the house and doing something more useful during downtime lol.

I’m of the opinion that the difficulty of gameplay in very high keys is not “easier to do and plan”. Gear can scale to a level that makes it only attainable by the very best (as Raid Bosses are, only <5% on average of raiders will knock down a CE boss / achieve their BIS from it)

You think only 1% of the player base does M+ 15 ?? Are you trolling ?? It’s like 40% of the player base right now LOL

This is an MMO not an action RPG. Gear acquisition must be throttled in some manner.

Historically dungeon gear wasn’t always the most desirable. Always seen entry level for Raids/PvP.

Because the M+ weekly chest can award some mythic level items I image the high end raiders will still view the weekly important for BIS stats

Lol they never said +15 was my “High end Mythic Plus”
