Everybody on the raiding site HATES the idea. NOBODY wants to do Sanctum again. WE JUST DID IT 5 months ago.

yea thats cause raiders already killed those bosses

Somebody start yelling, maybe they will listen.

We’ve been yelling about it since season 4 was announced.

Blizzard doesn’t give a damn.

You’re probably not wrong. Blizzard gonna do what Blizzard gonna do. The rest of us just have to adapt.

Good idea, there’s other solutions but some playerbase will be impacted, casuals, people that wants S4 with a proper duration…etc and lets be real raiding scene got smaller every expansion, so they don’t care too much about it.

But they should keep AOTC/CE achievements as you mentioned during S4 and that’s it, who cares if players got more ilvl from Fated raids.

A guy I’ve pushed with before is excited for Fated raids because he’ll be able to buy Gavel with a Dinar. He still doesn’t have even the Heroic version of Gavel even though he’s been doing Jailer for many weeks now.

That’s at least something.

:man_shrugging:

Or ppl could learn to get into puddle. It’s going to do so little dmg now that ppl will just ignore it. They decide to nerf it by 75% AFTER my guild finally killed H Rygelon…

So, he’s excited for the new deterministic loot solution not the gameplay part, he’s focus on the reward side, I don’t hear people excited to do the fights with a new mechanic.

Lol, I suppose that is a fair point… now that I think of it I think there are a few hunters that want another go at the bow.

Still though, I understand people being upset. Though I guess Blizzard did warn that S4 would be in Summer…

The thing is, they did not have to screw anyone. There is nothing written in stone that said they have to have a season 4 for the raid, or that they have to start that season at the same time as the M+/PVP season. They control the whole thing and as I said, there are multiple avenues they could have gone down. They chose to do this to the raiders.

Hall of fame closings are when they do their QoL implementations and then secondly heavy nerfs.

Nyalotha horde Hof closed = essence vendor
Sanctum horde hof closed = spec specific conduit upgrading

It’s honestly tiresome to see them decide on when to do things around these metrics.

Getting there. Now remove it from Misery and Meteor Cleave, too.

Look, you already removed it from Misery on Heroic a while ago. Now Heroic has zero knockback mechanics at all. Now you’re starting to take them out of Mythic. Let’s just fast forward to the end of this line of thought.

You’re starting to realize that the idea of “a fight on narrow catwalks between dozens of pits with multiple knockback mechanics to knock people into the pits” was a bad idea.

I get it. Somebody on the dev team really liked AD&D Module A1 (Slave Pits of the Undercity) when they were 10. So did I. But that doesn’t mean the room where you fight on top of the girders is a good model for a raid encounter in WoW.

Just go the rest of the way and take out the knockbacks. OR leave them in and let people get AOTC/CE during season 4, just like you did with Helya’s AOTC/CE after Nighthold came out.

Either will do.

I agree 100%. I don’t think they want to though because they want to "test their M+ raiding version and could care less that their customers actually just want to complete the current raid.

True but I’ll bet players will complain about AOTC/CE with new M+ Ilvl upgrades because it’s going to be easier to get those achievements, that’s what you get when you create a seasonal game instead of evergreen content.

It’d be nice if they would give a roadmap of each tier… Week X First round of nerfs. Week Y Second round of nerfs… at least people wouldnt be surprised.

Ignore them if they do. Was there an outcry when people got Helya CE after Nighthold released?

Nope.

Someone somewhere is always gonna cry about something.

For sure, I’ll ignore them but I think devs are considering that into the mix of issues and that’s why they want to remove both achievements from S4

Lol sure it would be, but then they would be held hostage to delivery deadlines. They aren’t going to show their hand again so openly like WoD unless they know they can deliver. Legion with thal’dranath (big island that was canceled) was the last major hiccup of them showing macro content delivery that got canned as we know. Micro stuff like this gets easily filed in to folder 13.
