This issue already exists within the raiding scene. People who raid/M+ out gear raiders by a minimum of 10 ilvls. All that Blizzard is doing right now is increasing the likelihood that people purchase AOTC/CE 
… using tokens.
Since Blizzard never showed us Thros, Blizzard can pretend they never intended to include Thros as part of Shadowlands.

True, already some players mentioned this and the only upgrades from Raid are the last 3 bosses on Mythic which a lot of guilds just kill once and that’s all. However, S4 will have the raids with 2 difficulties regular or fated and a lot of players will get not 10 ilvl but like 30+ ilvl for doing the regular difficulty for AOTC/CE.

But yeah for everyone here, 12 weeks.
That’s 4 full fated cycles and one full rotation of m+ affixes. Don’t expect anything more than that.
Yeah. I am sure they are set with what they are going to do. They really would save themselves a lot of distrust and angst if they’d be more open, but I guess that is not as financially lucrative as springing things on people.

So if this raid is being managed exactly the same as all others, right from its initial release, why are you the only one saying this is the case?
With the current nerfs, it takes 2 back to back eruptions to wipe a raid on heroic. People need to git gud.
Uh, because literally nobody is getting CE. It’s like a fraction of a fraction of the playerbase right now.
We had 15~ish people tonight(guild+pugs) and 1 bomb was enough to kill most if not all people except tanks. No its not nerfed enough, its unforgiving. We got him to 15% and wouldn’t you guess it…1 dark eruption killed the pull.
2 bombs go out at the same time. I know for a fact that a single eruption isn’t enough to one shot a heroic raid. When 2 go off at the same time, only one shows up in the chat window.
So what’s the consensus on these nerfs? These nerfs are huge buuut they still don’t seem like enough.
Will the number of CEs look similar to SoD? Or is it still a matter of “if you’re not on jailer right now, you won’t get CE”? What do yall think?
These nerfs still kind of miss the point lmao. That’s what it looks like to me atleast.

Nope, they are cutting S3 short. SoD had 8-9 months, current raid will only have had 5-7 months max. As soon as S4 release date is announced, most will give up who aren’t close to jailer.

Not on Jailer you won’t get CE. The number of CEs is going to be a 10th of SoD, if that.
You have to remember too, SoFo has TWO endgame bosses in it, Anduin and Jailer, both are 300 pull bosses(semi nerf).

Thought so. Welp, It was a fun ride. I totally get that some guilds just shouldn’t get CE but I feel like Blizzard kinda screwed my guild.
Same, we’re on Rygelon right now, but with only 4 weeks, even if we get Rygelon next week we realistically will only get around 150 pulls on Jailer before the season ends. It’s possible, but unlikely tbh.

Multiple guilds also are not getting AOTC because Anduin/Rygelon are insanely overtuned and have been for a while now. Yes they are getting easier but still…at the end of the season of all times. I haven’t even seen heroic lords or heroic jailer yet.

300 pulls is not fine. This is not healthy for average mythic guilds to be stuck on same boss for a months. No boss should ever require more than 100 pulls to kill him.
