Why can people all of a sudden not do dragon soul without LFR when they where able to do BoT BWD, ToTFW and Firelands?

Lol that argument holds zero relevance since the “No changes” was tossed out.
Things that where not in orginal cata
Heroic + dungeons
retail transmog
3 weeks to complete legendary staff in 25man

So just because it was in original doesn’t mean it will be.

Don’t care, you’re the only one against it and there’s no reason not to add it other than “It’S nOt NeEdEd CaUsE gEaR” which is absolutely garbage and not why people want it. Cry harder, we’ll get it in Dragon Soul just like we got RDF in ICC.

You’re projecting. You’re the one spending hours on the forum every day. You started posting Oct 26 2024, about 7 weeks ago and have 1035 posts.

Zihkari started posting Oct 30 2022, two years ago and has 734 posts.

You’ve posted more in 7 weeks than Zihkari has in over two years. You’re clearly obsessed with the forum and barely have time to do anything else. For your own good find something else to do. Read a book or go out side. Given how obsessed you are with the forum you probably could use a shower. Even that would be a helpful break for you.

Just to be clear: instead of simply not using LFR, you’d rather deny others from enjoying it.

If you don’t think is necessary, don’t use it.

If you don’t enjoy it, don’t do it.

It really IS that simple.

LFR is great for going through the raid a couple bosses at a time.

It’s great for people with unpredictable free time (I loved LFR as a new parent when it was introduced).

It’s also great for traditional raiders looking to help get those tier pieces or trinkets that just won’t drop for them in normal/heroic.

Most importantly: you don’t need to coordinate with several other players just to start a raid. You queue for the wing(s) you want when you want, zerg it, move on with your day.

I’m simply stating that a third catch-up mechanic is unnecessary for the game’s final phase. Catch-up mechanics have spoiled WoW; people no longer engage in old raid content. Thus, you’re essentially removing a significant portion of the game’s content and substituting it with inferior content.

If LFR is implemented, there will be three catch-up mechanics available:

  1. Inferno 2.0 Dungeons featuring Heroic FL loot.
  2. Two new 5-man dungeons dropping Heroic FL loot at corresponding item levels.
  3. LFR providing rewards at a lower item level.

And that’s the problem: that’s not LFR’s sole purpose. You’re ignoring all the other reasons people use LFR.

If blizzard brings it back it should share a lockout with Normal and Heroic. Simply because its not NEEDED.

or IF blizzard brings it back then they shouldn’t release Inferno dungeons.

I really don’t see that happening, especially with raiders who use LFR to get their placeholder BiS items.

I can get behind that, but that would also be a new discussion. Personally, with MoP Classic on the horizon, it might be worth looking at CM dungeons being useful AFTER you earn the gold rewards…

Raiders, in large part, do not want to do have to do LFR. Having to do LFR for set bonuses and trinkets has been a major complaint since it was implemented. Making it share a lockout like 10/25 N/H already do would completely remedy that issue and be consistent with the existing Cata raid format.

This plus a 3rd catch mechanic is not healthy for the game. Normal is there and easily accessible. Saying you dont have time to do normal raiding then how have you raided for the last 5 years?

Not wanting LFR is not gate keeping. stop playing victim because of the repercussions of your own choices/actions.

Blizz is adding 2 other catch up mechanics a 3rd is not needed.

Lol not its not go do the normal raids! They are there and easy to access they are actually easier because you can get heroic gear from he previous tier without having to do the hard content. That is no gate keeping. its pointing out basic common-sense logic.
