But having 10 less ilvl does not beat tier set bonus.
The biggest issue with LFR has always been how it forced competitive players into LFR to earn tht tier and powerful trinkets earlier into the patch.
Shoulder Tier from LFR Is probably like 0.01% weaker than non-LFR tier piece. But the 2P/4P set bonuses could be as high as 20% Of over overall output.
Same goes for trinkets.
Remove tiers from LFR and it will be fine.
Ignorance is bliss. You clearly have no idea the issues LFR causes to this very day.
It’s less than an hour once a week in a brain dead easy mode and offers a little bit of RNG protection, virtually everyone was fine with LFR dropping tier and trinkets.
This isn’t like 10 mans in Wrath that had BiS pieces you had to get.

going into cata I was anti-raid finder. now that I have seen the lack of end game content cata has to offer i really don’t think its a good idea to remove anything from what the end game has to offer. like others have said, removing tier sets or something would make raid finder feel a lot less mandatory which would be good. but we should still get it with dragon soul even if it’s a mess.
Mandatory is the wrong way to thing about it, it’s RNG protection if you have bad luck in your actual raids.

Lfr was brainless water down raiding when it came to ds you went in to get the trinket / set items you ignor everything and burn the boss some heroic 5 mans where harder then lfr

LFr starts off bad, I cannot lie. Its fugly. 4 weeks in most are on some sheet of music though.
SL would be strongest run of LFR for me. No bosses besides besides Sylvanas (end fight) had me hating life a month in. And that one was jsut platform deaths in droves for the reason. MOnth in even with 25% mortality rate…the gear was there to muscle Sylvanas all the same.
Most reasonable people jsut accepted their fate. They didn’t hate the LFR for the lFR. they hated the fact 4 weeks of normal just had trash RNG luck.
Hell some wings we had our normal+'s just show up for a mount run.
Do you even realize how you sound? Nobody is forced to do anything they don’t want to. And if you feel “forced” to do something, perhaps it is time to look deep within yourself and ask, why?

The feeling players have of being “forced” to do things like LFR for significant power increases has been considered for years and years in design decisions.
You couldn’t see a mile away that LFR would never come?

Is that you retailers don’t need LFR or RDF at all…

SoD players aren’t and never were true retailers. 
Thats not what LFR is. LFR is its own difficulty, lower than normal.
