So what your saying is that now I can only do each one once a day with no additional benefit? How is that an improvement? You’re thinking about it wrong. Alts running it was never necessary. Speaking for myself as a completionist. I am using them to get everything acquired on my account because I choose to. Not because I have to. Getting a bit ahead now is good for the days I can’t do any at all.
Look I am glad you realize there are problems with this event. You’re just messing with something that isn’t an issue IMO. What was the point of the warband and currency trading system if not to be used for just this reason? We are not exploiting anything. I have over 30 characters able to do this event. Now those wings are clipped because I can only do it once per day.
I think Blizzard forgets that this gear is throwaway. On the 26th, a piece of green gear will replace what we get here. It makes no sense at all. You need 300k+ of these residual memories to gear a single alt or main. It boggles my mind that a company wary of negative press and fear of insulting people isn’t afraid to give us a pre-patch that’s supposed to launch us into 2+ years of play. This gear means nothing. This event should be about fun, running around with people, defeating big bads of the events, and just gearing alts. It’s so horribly designed that I fear the entire war within will be mediocre garbage and an endless grind for something worthless a patch later. Maximum effort needs to happen now not later.
So you refuse to acknowledge the fact that you can spend an hour in one zone continually killing stuff in the mini events and boss to constantly get 1400 currency, gear, Flightstones, Crests and XP— which is roughly 1 level per boss kill— thereby negating the need for quest XP entirely. Got it.

There is additional benefit.
You can continually do the mini events and boss kills over and over for 1400 currency, gear, Crests and Flightstones. It’s not limited to the quest now. The quest itself will give you 3k currency. But you can keep getting the rest of what I listed constantly from kills over and over.
The ring is usless trash right now and capped at item level 337 once you pay the 10k for the two upgrades to get it to level 69. So not usable till heirloom upgrades unlock during TWW when we can pay another 5k to make it work until level 79.
Grateful for the changes. Would be nice to have had PTR feedback be heard and implemented before launching but I appreciate the quick turnaround on the buffs either way.
Are you ignoring what I said about drake crests, flight stones etc?
If I have 65 toons, I should be able to do the quests on those 65 toons if I choose to. Nobody should ever be limited to “1 character” WE HAVE ALTS TO DO STUFF REPEATIDLY.
I do think making these quests a one and done daily experience was unnecessary, but it does appear that they made the gains by participating large enough to offset this by a country mile.
