You could be right and they’re lying about their circumstances. You could be right and they’ve been trolling intentionally for a while.
But if you’re not right, then you’re just pouring salt in open wounds only because someone has been mildly annoying on the WoW forums.

Really sorry about your stoke my friend had a stoke last year and it was horrible he was in rehab for over a month, but i do agree that the community is really toxic, but you cant let it bother you in a game, specially if they hold no significant value in your life
i don’t think i poured any salt…
i love salt too much to just throw it around willy-nilly.

It just seems like some people know better, and others simply do not.
Spend enough time on the forums and you can usually pick 'em from a mile away.
From what I saw, OP was a bit of a troll, and was treated as such.
(And I’m sorry but when I saw who they were talking about stalking them, I actually laughed out loud)

uhuh.
…pretty much everyone posts on characters they play.
nobody seems to have any issues with stalking or bullying.
people post their btags daily, still no stalking or bullying.
it’s not though.
most of the people who are mildly annoying, KNOW that they’re mildly annoying.
(like me!)
if i provoke someone and they poke back, then i probably deserve it.

Hate to see you quit over it. Have you tried playing solo and putting anyone who annoys you in the least on ignore? My game is soooo much more peaceful with a nice full ignore list.

Almost implies that we aint getting anymore account info in here than we have already
it states that the player could currently just switch posting characters.
this implies blizzard is aware of the changing needs of the forum, and are looking to rebuild functionality.
this can’t happen soon enough.
hopefully it happens before all the “classic” trolls (and their sockpuppets) do some actual lasting damage to the game by the incessant trash posting they engage in.

Not all classic alts are trolls and this witch hunt is getting ridiculous. As I said earlier in this post, some people here are quite strange how they want to find everyone’s characters. Some are uncomfortable with that atmosphere.
oh and another troll here attacked me yesterday for no reason other than posting on a classic toon. It’s getting ridiculous.
