maybe the bar is set very low for wow set up

Click to launch a load screen to another load screen then a really looooong load screen to the character select screen proceeded by another long load screen then get hit with 600 popups for BUY ZE HOUSE NOWZ!
WoW is literally One click to character screen and in the game 3 seconds later

dude go through steam its much easier and faster then the main website and for the password it should be send to your email.

still, there is probably way more help anywhere but here assuming you are serious
I would like to add in mobile games are a lot more friendly to people who struggle with basic computer usage, would recommend checking that out too (google play store is a good starting point!)

i made the mistake of going through steam. Just use the launcher it’s less painful.
You should have played ffxi, playonline was a nightmare. If you deactivated your account for a specific amount of time you couldnt even reactivate it.
Thats the sad part about the ARR section…its a bit of a chore, but as someone who is still playing since i started almost 2 years ago…it does get a lot better. Its just a shame that its such pain at the start of the game 
and thats prolly the most important part for new players

The UI for FFXIV’s login and stuff is a bit antiquated, but it’s perfectly fine.
95% of the issues people have with it boil down to user error.
