That’s fine. I’m not saying it’s bad. Not my thing and I can’t stick with it for more than a couple weeks tbh, but it’s fine. Just saying, as story-focused as FFXIV is, that’s not what’s going to hold attention once people catch up. If this streamer dude quit fast after experiencing endgame, he just didn’t like the game, it’s not because he skipped the story.

It’s an MMO. This hype will die FAST if story is the only appeal. MMOs need longevity outside of 3 hours per patch.

Not saying FFXIV doesn’t have that, just saying story alone isn’t going to keep people subbed over there. If that’s why people are playing, this is a temporary thing.

It doesn’t matter tbh, it only shows how bad WoW is right now, that even games like FFXIV are able to steal its players.

WoW is doing so many wrongs that people don’t care anymore, I literally stopped playing WoW for AOE DE editions, and guess what, I’m having more fun with a 15-20 years game than WoW.

That’s mob mentality tho, it doesn’t apply to FF14 only. Anything with a following is pretty much like that if you don’t like it. And its not everyone either…I could care less about this Quinyin person cause I’ve never heard of them and if they liked or didn’t like FF14. To each their own, its just the bad apples that make the whole look bad.
