A streamer that got baited by the FFXIV hype is now quitting Quintin (https://www.twitch.tv/Quin69) who plays a lot of games like Diablo 3 or Path of Exile on really high levels and has done the same with World of Warcraft tried FFXIV and simply says he “doesn’t understand the hype”.

Both FF 14 and wow players were in agreement that this guy was just doing it for the views. When he realized it wasn’t working and his own mods went against him, he gave up.
Which is funny cause he tried to pug savage content as a boosted player that didn’t even bother to learn his class.
His whole deal was hype bait, simple as that.

It doesnt surprise me. He used a boost. Didnt take his time to get to end game jumped on hype train and what streamer would go against their mods and try to make the game work for end game meaning put the time in to get better ??? Not enough patience to me. I personally could careless for the streamer except I wish him well and happy gaming endeavors!

It won’t be long and the rest will be back, same thing with Asmongold. I can’t wait to see what all the players who “quit WoW for FFXiV” will have to say when the hype is gone.
Its a small group that keeps posting about it. As someone who enjoys both wow and FF14, I don’t care what people play. But these few people are making us all look bad.

Nah…Even some people on Method/Echo called him out, it wasn’t that he didn’t like the game, it’s just that he quite literally didn’t play the game at all.

You can’t wait for who to return? The same WoW game where its stagnant and no changes to short term systems and no greener pastures??? Those players will stay in FF14 or move on to New World and AOC or other games Where there is value and Foundations of greener pastures.
