Haven’t posted in a couple of weeks … we’re still going strong! Starting to contemplate doing something special for Hallows end.

“I made my Butterfly Paladin Mage Shaman Princess costume myself except my Papa and Nana had to help me with the glue and sewing a little bit and we are cooking special punkin stuff to eat and extra good honey dunked deep fried buns but I can’t do the oil part because it’s too hot for little paws but I’m not a baby I’m a big cub so i did the punkin seeds baking and so everyone should come and have fun and I bet your costumes are even gooder than mine and I wont be scared if you’re a monster because I know it’s just pretend and besides I have a magic wand that stops all monsters well it’s not real magic like chi because it’s just glowy paint but that’s ok because you’re just pretending to be a monster right? and i have wings so I can fly away before you can bite me and it’s ok that my wings are a old blanket because i needed a new one anyway so Papa’s not mad that I did it without asking first so you can come and have some of the stuff we are cooking even if you are a scary monster and I saw the Headless Horseman yesterday and he talked to me and he didn’t burn the houses he just made silly poems so come to the teahouse on Sunday because we have stuff to eat and just leave your weapons outside unless they are pretend weapons for your costume and we can pretend to be monsters and princesses and stuff because it’s fun and we are friends ok? even if i don’t know your name you can still be my friend and i will share my treats with you because we have enough for everyone even if you have to come to Pandaria in a boat or maybe a portal thingy like my Gramps makes because he is a mage.” /e finally takes a breath

For many various reasons some of us are alone on Thanksgiving. More of us need a break from the chaos (joyful or otherwise) of the household festivities.
i’ll be one of the former (by choice, more or less). So the teahouse will be open on Thursday. More or less the usual time (4 PM server) I think. Will bump this thread when we are ingame.

This Sunday (Dec 17th) will be our annual special Winter Veil teahouse. Menu of goodies still being worked on. We encourage everyone to dress festively.
As things look now, we will also be open on Dec 24th & 31st at the usual time.

- bring one simple ingredient to add to the pot. beverages and dessert provided by the Kettleclaws.
Sunday Feb 11th: “Lunar Festival Banquet”
- formal attire, multi-course set menu, entertainment. Usual time, possibly at an alternate site. Bring fireworks if you have them.

Due to my couple weeks rl downtime, we are just holding a regular teahouse this Sunday, rather than the Lunar Festival banquet originally planned. OTOH we will have a couple of special dishes in addition to the regular menu.
THE REAL GOOD NEWS IS …
The teahouse officially started as a recurring RP event back in 2018. According to my records the first night was February 25th. This year the 25th falls on a Sunday.
IC - with the time gap between xpacs - this year would be the 10th anniversary of Quilen & Cloud Teahouse. So …
On February 25th we will be holding a 10th anniversary celebration, probably winding up the evening with a group excursion to the Wanderer’s Festival just like we used to do in the old days. Details TBA.

This coming Sunday is our 10th Anniversary Celebration!
We will be at the old spot in Mistfall Village in Vale of Eternal Blossoms. (not Sri-La). The outdoor area near the pond where there are round counters.
Still debating whether to start later than usual and have it be a continuous event, or start normal time, then take a break before meeting up at Wanderer’s Festival. Input from former and current regulars would help deciding which way to go.
