Teahouse is cancelled today due to illness.
We’re open today - hopefully no more annoying minor illnesses now that weather has started warming.

Well, i’m basically ok healthwise, but just too worn down to have the stamina for running the teahouse today. Hopefully back up to full steam next week.
We maded good stuffs for holiday foods. We gots bamboos buds - them looks likes eggs - steamed in coconut milk and mint. And birdie nests. not really sticks, it’s noodles fried like a basket wiff inside is greens and flower petals that is ok to eat and tastes good. And we gots hoo-loos! Hoo-loos is like good yums that is round and on a stick, a whole bunch on one stick, lotta diff’rent flavors so you can have whatever kind you likes or a bunch of different kinds on one stick. So come to our teahouse. Oh, and we got the reg’lar stuffs too so don’t worry.

I madeded all the noms so’s I could show my new friends who don’t has they own homes how to cook. We gots plenty for evybody tonight at teahouse:
SYRUP NOODLES [whole wheat noodles with raspberry syrup]
STEAMED FROGS [frog-shaped dumplings filled with cucumber slices and peas]
MUSH’AN POTATOES [mashed potatoes with chunks of plantain, greyish mushan gravy optional]
LAVA CAKE [carrot cake with lots of raisins, chopped nuts, and a gooey runny chocolate filling]
DRAGON BONES [steamed bamboo sections stuffed with sweet sticky rice]

I’m fine - just hiding from the heat til I get used to it. Today was 102 with aggressively low humidity. Coolest day for coming week is gonna be about 100, with hottest predicted to be 106. Making me wish I lived in Sri-La irl.

Harvest season celebration:
“Stone Soup” night at the Teahouse this Sunday
replacing the usual menu.
Bring an ingredient to add to the pot. We’ll provide the usual beverages and dessert.
