Queue dungeons with AI NPCs in 10.2

would be hilarious if we could vote to kick ai. would vote kick draenei npcs all day.

This is just the beginning wait until they do AI raiding and mythic plus hell even AI pvp rated kinda scary to be honest lol. And to add to it just imagine of you lost to an AI pvp player that kept posting Git Gud or /spit on ya.

I would love it if this would happen, god it would be incredible. No more other people to deal with, just me storymoding like I did in SW:TOR.

I think… the bot farmers can now farm dungeons with other bots. The game is complete, nothing more can be achieved.

WHAT IS THAT THING?

It’s staring into my soul

If Blizzard does AI for dungeons, it’ll be for leveling, not endgame, like in SWTOR.

If you’re tank or healer and constantly let your teammates die, the AI will vote kick you. They deserve better.

For people who want to learn a class / spec and practice it.

That would be cool I loved the idea of them in FFXIV when you didn’t feel like playing with a group (sometimes you need to afk etc from a busy day).

Only thing I hope is that they make it so you can queue with as many people as you want with the rest filled in as AI.

That’s the one thing that put me off in FFXIV’s trust system is you couldn’t do them with 1-2 others, it was solo or nothing.

Having the AI assisted players be levelable would be cool too. Let us level alongside them would be a sweet way of having another form of content to level alts with!

Lol what? M+ would be pointless if you could solo them. It’s the only small group content that is accessible since we don’t have 10mans anymore since Cata.

100% like it. Include normal raids raids and mythic+ up to around 10/11 please.

The logic I’d like to see is that players shouldn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes in a queue. If the queue doesn’t fill. The roles are filled by AI. If any human player quits during the run, it is replaced by an AI player for the duration. If all humans quit prior to content being completed, then the run ends.

If blizzard doesn’t want to ensure tanking/healing is actually fun…This would help fill the gap in the meantime. It would also help reduce the strange(but rare) phenomenon of healers/tank roles attracting people with personality disorders acting like they’re doing you a huge favor simply by being present.

It would also be an amazing QoL improvement to have the option to use your alts for the AI controlled characters. That way you can make some simultaneous progression in regards to gearing.

Sadly you are right, nothing can ever be too easy or fun when it comes to Blizzard it would probably have a long cooldown, or only certain dungeons something would make it a hurdle.

FF14 offers that as an option and it works well for that game. So it all depends on the implementation (and obviously whether it’s real or not).

See: The final dungeon in Exile’s Reach.

This would work for lower-level content. Probably never for Mythic-level content.

I’m all for it, if it means getting a dungeon done, as long as it isn’t introduced into high-level content.

One pacing/anti-bot idea: require dialogs with AI members at regular intervals to keep them moving with the group.

Oh you know they will have some kind of weird system to make it a PITA to use. This current Dev team can’t help themselves when it comes to anyone who doesn’t play the way they want you to.

A system like this is the only thing I like about SWTOR. It’s great.

I would love to have all my alts be my group.

Looks like they’re testing it with a few DF dungeons to see how well it’s going to be received and how many players will use it.

I think this idea is dumb to be clear. But the thought of people getting kicked by the 4 AI would be worth it.
