It seems silly to give opinions based on people who are jumping to conclusions based on incomplete data-mining of beta content.
I have serious doubts that they are in a hurry to “replace” players with AI. I’m pretty sure that “AI” players aren’t paying a subscription each month.
But if they are able to make dungeons more interesting via NPCs that are using AI, that would be a good thing IMO.
I share this video only to show you what their team have datamined on the PTR. Not sharing my ‘troll thoughts’ on it either way. Just want to hear some opinions on it from general discussion.
Normally I’d agree with you, but these e-celeb/parasites do one thing well, which is copying info they scrape from the internet/WoW verbatim. Again, I only share the video to discuss the subject of AI dungeons in WoW.
Oh, that’s an easy ignore. I’ll happily wait for someone less known to say anything and everything for views before I bother caring about potential new info.
I think people are simply refusing to believe that these AI dungeons could be a thing that Blizzard is considering. Try to derail the thread all you want, I don’t care.
The question is if they’re really going to add it, and if so, what does that mean for WoW? I’ve deliberately left my thoughts on the matter out of every post because I want to read other peoples opinions on it.
All of my main alts are pandaren named Gigabear of various classes. Priest, Monk, Hunter mainly. So, I’d totally do this and RP an alternate timeline thing.
tbh i rather not have dungeons/raid just be 1 player with a entire team of ai.
would feel off if they did mythics entirely like that.
but i wouldn’t be opposed to it if they used it to replace a player or 2 that rage quits mid-run.
