i mean, my main is full 421 tier from mythic plus… i don’t really care about normal/lfr/heroic raid loot, i don’t even do those.
do you think it is fair that one person wins every piece of loot from one boss? especially in a pug?

I think it’s fair that anyone who participated in a fight has a chance to win loot their class can use.
Personal Loot is far superior in LFG settings.
Group Loot is best used for groups of people you know. (Guild runs)
Group loot should be available as an option (emphasis on option) for guild and community raids only. All other raids should be personal loot only. Also, the drop rate needs to be increased significantly. The way it was done in Legion was best.
Group loot is pretty much a de-evolution from what we already had. Sure, you can roll need on everything and say “it’s just like group loot was”, but it has de-evolved in two ways:
One chap can get everything on a boss. Sure, that’s alot of luck that all items are of his spec and he gets those dice rolls right.
Now we can add in the potential for items that no one can actually use.
On the other hand, you can more easily see how vehemently stingy the game has turned with its reward system. If we have had this back before, I think there would be more uproar about other things.
OP you kinda misunderstand how personal loot works vs. Group Loot, even the community council has made a post about it. I am not going to repeat why its worse(people have already done it countless times myself included) you can look that up on your own but there was a reason why group loot was removed in MoP.
sure they could of gotten it. but they never and i mean never in a million gagillion years would of gotten 2 or even 3 pieces from the same boss. which is what is currently happening with group loot on the odd occasion.
i just went on my warrior tank to que up and tank for my wife in lfr for her alt. and there was like a 406 hunter that got both the 385 tier shoulders off broodkeeper and the 385 manic grieftorch. btw he was already wearing 411 heroic their shoulders and had 2 trinkets on. one of which was 415 ilvl and the other 411.
and that is what is wrong with group loot.
people rolling for upgrades. fine.
people rolling for transmog. fine.
people winning 2 and in some cases 3 items off 1 boss especially when they dont need the items. serious problem.
if it was personal loot and he had gotten an item then that would of been that. he would of gotten A item. not 2 or in some cases that people have seen, 3 items off the same boss kill.
try again. the following happens all the time with group loot →
for pugs, personal loot is the superior system simply because it equalizes the amount of loot that everyone can get.
This. wasted gear in Group loot that has 0 chance to be used. In personal loot everything has a chance to be used. I would rather see 4 pieces of gear drop that all the the potential to be used than 4 loots drops that 2 or 3 out of the 4 are completely useless.
Perhaps you should try reading my post again before you embarrass yourself a second time.
you mean how i quoted it expressly and accurately?
hunter rolled on loot for their class even though they didn’t need it (it is loot their class can use as you expressly stated is fair).
try again
I don’t have to try anything again. I said precisely what I meant. Your inability to understand it isn’t my problem. Regardless of what you think, people are your slaves.
see ya later.
I will keep parsing greens. I’m a bit too busy running a business to spend all day focusing on a video game.
then why are you spam replying to my posts here if you are so busy?
Because I can.
you just said
did you not?
Imagine thinking taking 2 seconds to respond to a post is the same thing as dedicating 4 hours to a raid. You’re embarassing yourself, bud.
you’ve been replying to me for almost an hour now… thought your business kept you so busy?
How many CE feats do you have?
