Not sure where the best place to ask this but, I am returning player and well I have gotten older in age and my eyes are getting weaker. Is there a way to darken the quest tracker background or is there an addon that might do it?

Sorry to hear about your issue, if I understand correctly you are trying to darken the quest frame in order to properly read the text. I fortunately have a couple of solutions to help you!
- Addons are a great way to modify the game for it to suit your needs, some will change the way the quest frame behaves and others the appearence of the box. I would have 2 choices here that will not alter the game as a whole.
a) “Immersion” is a popular addon which completely changes the way the quest frame looks. It is the addon I prefer the most since not only are quests easier to read but also much more immersive!
b) “SUI” is another addon that changes the way the UI looks. It darkens your overhaul UI in a very nice way. You can type /sui in the chat once downloaded to only enable the quest frame module!

I found an addon that helps called Kaliel’s Tracker that darkens the background of the quest tracker and it has been helping a lot.
I’m a fan of Kaliel’s Tracker as well.
Here’s a video of it’s features for those that don’t want to have to download it to check it out.
The background opacity of the tracker window can be adjusted.
