Question about Multiboxers

Well, not exactly. Third party software is used by most of them.

But multiboxxing is legal. Blizzard can plainly see how it is affecting the game and they are cool with it.

If you want to be a meaningful participant in warmode start multiboxxing. Otherwise, keep your head down or get out of warmode. That is how Blizzard wants the game to be.

Really all there is to it.

This is not true because MBers typically use third party software to clone their actions from one account to the others.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on how they feel about MBing though.

Sounds like you made an awful move by charging in.

Yes, I was corrected earlier on in the thread. I need to educate myself more on the rules. But it sounds like a lawless sort of realm anyway.

It is your personal opinion that it is cheating. That’s where your claim begins and ends.

The fact is that this is an mmo, and things other players do affects you. People who play the auction house affect you. People who play content you have chosen not to play affects you. People who use game features you have decided for whatever reason not to use affect you. People who buy things you have chosen not to buy affect you. That mighty caravan brutosaur some guy is on may be blocking your view of the scenery.

It’s your choice to gimp yourself however you want to if that is what you feel is a challenge to you. It’s not up to you to go whining to daddy blizzard that now they need to ban all the players who haven’t decided to gimp themselves as you have.

Except it is allowed with third party software. They just can’t use the software in a way that violates the EULA.

LOL You don’t know the half of it. I honestly thought there were just 3-5. Which, yeah, still stupid of me, hah. I don’t mind dying in pvp and I figured everyone else was gonna charge in too. But it didn’t matter. Believe me, it didn’t matter, haha.

Sorry I couldn’t resist the joke.

Real big stretch on this one. So you’re saying that by not multiboxing, people are automatically gimping themselves? Interesting.

Oh look, the multiboxers are employing their ill-granted advantage to flag my posts yet again for hypocritical reasons. What a surprise.

You were exceptionally hostile in that post. Doesn’t surprise me that it got flagged.

Yeah super hostile.

I mean you seem to always be hostile.

Would you care to highlight where I said that?

…I’ll wait…

Well, you’re entitled to your opinions. Try reading their responses to people and you can enjoy the hypocritical hostility. One of them even posted a veiled death threat at me.

It was a general “you”. Not you in particular.

Sure it changes the game. I should have added that. It does give them (boxers) more of an edge when it comes to farming and just by being a nuisance.

Locking down Trade District in Stormwind or The Valley of Strength.

Complaints to Blizzard were heard and the answer was…You can go to Dwarven District or Valley of Honor.

My response mainly is due to the ones who are in Warmode and complaining about dying to a boxer.

I understand your stance. I understand what your saying.

This is such a lolworthy defense IMO.

The whole reason people complain about MBers is because if MBing was not allowed that person playing 40 accounts would be 1 and the fight would be “fair”, or at least 1v1.

Moreover when people MB and have all of their actions synced it allows for more precise nuking like how the OP just instadied. When you’re at 40 it’s irrelevant, but when you’re talking about a more typical 3-8 boxer the coordination of all of those spells hitting someone simultaneously is more powerful than individual players attempting to coordinate kills. There is some loss of functionality unless the MBer is set up to handle CCing properly, but that can still be overcome by just being able to overwhelm someone via brute force.

Got a link to this supposed “death threat”?

Feel free to peruse my account summary, I don’t hide my profile.

People who complain that they don’t want to fly usually fly. But when people tell them they have a choice not to fly, they usually say that it wouldn’t be fair to them if other people are not forcibly gimped in the same way they have chosen to be.

Anybody can choose to run multiple accounts. It’s an option. $30 a month for 2 accounts is not an expensive hobby.
