Quel'thalas belongs to the Alliance

auric is a ‘high elf representative’ in quel’thalas

renthar hawkspear didnt attack lorthemar when he went to visit. this was after kicking him and his lot out of their homes after they fought as hard as anyone to reclaim their lands

i reckon highvale would also entertain lorthemar and not attack either if he paid them a visit

I don’t know of any citations of people not being able to support the Alliance openly in Quel’Thalas. Alleria even went against Quel’Thalas’ departure from the Alliance after the Second War to stay with the Alliance and go to Draenor, and was still allowed back to Quel’Thalas, as you have pointed out, even when on behalf of Anduin.

i think alleria was just given a chance to prove herself. she hadnt really lifted a finger against the horde before bfa

valeera is another weird one

and now that the faction war is on the back burner and another bfa type expansion unlikely, what does supporting the alliance even mean now

According to Magnificent that’s old, out of date BC lore.

She did speak pretty badly about the Horde at least on Argus.

It is, but luckily we had that whole thing with Alleria to show us what a modern interaction between the leader of Horde-aligned Silvermoon and an advocate for the Alliance might look like. Certainly less mind control but just as much “no thank you”.

FWIW I’m not convinced there are any high elves living in Quel’Thalas under such a name. I imagine they’d repatriate to the “blood elf” identity if they were to swap factions, which is a fair way to RP your blood elf, but there’s no actual evidence of it in the text yet.

The high elf pilgrims during the Quel’Delar stuff port in from Dalaran, wander around the Sunwell, then return through their Dalaran portal. There’s nothing to suggest they or their representative pledged allegiance to the Horde, or went home to Silvermoon, or even stuck around. Au contraire, we’ve been to the Sunwell like three times since Wrath and it’s under strict Horde control, zero “high elves” anywhere.

I am certainly in agreement with you there. Though turning down Alleria might have been more Lor’themar fearing Sylvanas than anything else.

it doesnt matter if youre convinced, there is no lore stating other wise

but helfers state differently

theres nothing in the lore that states ‘high elves’ are pledged to alliance exclusively either(excluding the now dead jaina/theramore elves). as for dalaran elves, theyve been going back and forth the entire time for thousands of years. kael, rommath, telestra(magister types). these were the dalaran elves. not the ex farstriders of the SC

but helfers state differently

In consequence, there are very few high elves left on Azeroth today. High elves did not gather in any significant numbers and are a very small group of individuals. [2]

this is really the only pertinent line of modern ‘high elves’. it doesnt say they are exclusively alliance does it? so they could be a couple individuals in quel’thalas, stormwind and boralus :stars:

Maybe. Certainly the writers forgot that he was bold enough to threaten her life in MoP. Yet another way BfA would have been a better expansion had they respected the plot beats and character development in BfA 1 a little more.

thats what i thought :smirk:

I feel that at the end of Mists of Pandaria that Lor’themal believed that Vol’jin would have his back, so was probably bolder than after Vol’jin died.

Actually it belongs to the Amani.

Just sayin.

Actually, it belongs to the Titans, since Azeroth is a Titan. So, Humans, Gnomes, and Dwarves have the rightful claim to it and all other land.

That’s not how you spell troggs.

Orcs are also a Titan creation.

Orcs are from a dead/dying planet called Draenor though :wolf:

I think you’ll find most orcs around today are from Azeroth.

I suppose that’s technically correct. I wouldn’t call orcs titan constructs though, they came from a elemental being called Grond, I believe his name was.

Who was made by a…?
