Hitting 2400 should give you the ability to upgrade PVE ilvl of pvp gear to the highest mythic track ilvl.
2100 should should be highest heroic track.

I agee 100%, increasing participation solves so many problems PvP is currently facing.
This is how it was when it was first tested in shadowlands. It gave a lot of honor as well, so it was very popular.
you can give the people what they want or you can give them what they need.
the blizz devs need the expertise and the confidence to make decisions like this more often.
i agree but then youâd have to face the salty tears of pverâs who have been set up to have the expectation that they should always have easy access to the best gear.
i like hero track since its a few ilvl off of the highest(non special) myth tier loot, making it equivalent to farming m+ over and over, but not as strong as mythic raid, or the weekly m+ loot.
Shadowlands is top 3 pvp expac easily.
Doesnât matter how off meta your spec was. The way the game was designed made it so you still cooked people worse than you playing who were playing fotm.
Thatâs interesting. Give me your top 3.
I do agree with this, and I personally think that the gearing making fotm rerolling harder was the main reason. My boomer self wishes it was back but I donât think itâs really great for the game right now, I think leveling should be harder again.
Let us make/apply for groups while queued for something else.
Legion(second half of the expansion was goated. First half was kind of trash)
Mop(s14/15)
Shadowlands(s2/ second half of s3)
These arenât in any particular order. Also have nothing to do with what I thought about the gearing systems. I just thought these expacs had the most fun gameplay.
Start rewarding players for being loyal to their mains rather then punishing players like myself who just want to play the spec they enjoy. Not really a QoL change for the game but certainly one for me lol.
Referencing back to SL S1 here. My issue was the power gap between a full purple set with no upgrades, and the fully upgraded set. It was extreme. At least the same as a TWW full BiS character vs a full green honor gear. I want to say it was 200 ilvl vs maybe 221? 224? Regardless, you could feel it big time.
Then you add in that RBGs were still quite popular, and easier to acquire rating in. Mediocre players could bury their âskillâ in RBGs and team shop their way up the ladder, and then take that gear over to lower arena brackets.
Anyway, i dont dislike the premise of the whole system. If they did it again, id just want the ilvl gap between no upgrades and max upgrades to be smaller.
Big Warlock is not ready to have this conversation.
Poor balance is a direct product of the fact that Blizzard has monetized rerolling via level boosts and wow tokens.
I did also enjoy both of these.
SLS2 will always have a stigma because the gladiator mount is more common then a blizz store mount lol. I did enjoy S3 though because survival was a warcrime.
Unfortunately we all know perfect balance is not achievable in a game like this, but at least make everything viable which I think blizz is actually doing fairly well right now but the ease of lvln gearing makes it not matter when you can easily swap to the new hot thing.
Isnt legion where we got auto bubble for ret, 100% sac for hpal, destro became aoe entrenched in flame spec, artifact trinket for ret, etc?
Idk about loving legion pvp, no idea why people hold it in such a high regard. Locked honor talents start of xpac too, terrible experience 2/10. pve grind sucked too.
like what class designs were good in legion? RMP killing every team through multiple layers of cds, what am i missing. Wasnât that when spirit link totem became a weird honor talent and ppl played dbl spriest with it?
Didnt they change demo to be all pet based during it? didnât we see a ton of awful demo locks in like s2 or 3 get titles?
I think deathknight healing through deathstrike was actually good in legion. FDK using IBF to juice DS healing but then wasnât good enough to make them immortal with out it felt good. Probably only example I can think of lol. Still legion was fun for me.
I actually miss when shuffle was unrated, those ptr shuffles when it first came out were the most fun that game mode has/will ever be.
maybe if you started in Legion/BFA that could be true.
Nah I started in mop and participated in tbc/wotlk/cata classic arena.
The classicâs were nothing compared to the originals tbh.
Problem with that is Classic is absolutely nothing like when those were actually live.
