It’s the strafe action entirely. I tried using Turn Left and Turn Right again (haven’t in a long time, since switching A & D to strafe) and you can’t strafe when holding the camera either. Keybind is seemingly irrelevant.

Mine have continued to stop working as well…most of the time in dungeons but it’s starting to happen in the open world now to…hell I can’t even jump anymore…

This is an incredibly irritating and disorienting bug.
It is tied to both Dragonriding and Soar, as I was experiencing it as early as pre-patch.

insane this is still an issue. i cant do anything to fix it queuing into bgs.

Seems to happen to me a lot when I’m on my Dragonflight mount when entering a queued dungeon. I made sure I’m not mounted when I join and it’s been fine.
I saw someone else mention mounting your Dragonflight mount, jumping up, and landing again. This works for me when I forget to do the workaround.

Works temporary for me. Like arkticsizzle, as soon as I enter any instance, it reverts back to its broken problem.
happening to me repeatedly. first A and D didn’t work, then strafe Q E didn’t work too. relog fixed it, but started happening again. seriously game breaking.
keeps happening to me. I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. i would port out of dungeons, mount, fly, and port back in. I still couldn’t strafe.
I’m getting same issue, but I’ll be able to press them again after moving forwards or backwards. Still super annoying when trying to adjust where I am after landing since it’s almost always happening after landing from Dragonflying.
I’ve had this same problem for 2 days now. Anytime I use my dragon mount it breaks my strafe keys. Then upon landing strafe doesn’t work. The only way to fix it temporarily is mount up and fly then re-land, but what’s annoying is when I go into a bg or dungeon it re-breaks my strafe. Could we get a blue post or something !?
Same issue started for me tonight, Dec 5. Strafe stopped working when I entered a BG.
Confirmed that making a new character and logging into it PERMANENTLY fixes the issue and that’s the only thing that did.
Same thing here. Entered a heroic dungeon unable to strafe. Really annoying. I had to leave.
Even after I left the dungeon, I was still bugged. At least I know that mounting / dismounting can help the issue. Didn’t help me in the dungeon though.
I just encountered this for the first time last night while going into an Arathi. I alt F4’d, I tried everything I could think of short of leaving the battleground. This has to be fixed.
This happened to me so far everytime i enter a arena, mounted or not, it disables my a and d keys while holding right mouse button
Can confirm this works. Created a gnome warlock logged in on it. Logged out and went back to main and it all started working again.
This too happened to me after unlocking the colbolt portal gateway thingy
Im having the same issue zoning in to do the Azmerloth quest. I can come out get on dragon riding mount and get back off its fine. When i go back in it starts up again.
Same issue, zoned into Azure Vault and Q E strafe don’t work despite being correctly keybound. Mounted up on my dragon and it worked fine, zoned back in and broke again
