PvP Rewards and Item Levels

How is M+ invalidating this gear? Vault gear can scale higher than +15 gear right now, and no matter how many choices you unlock in the vault, you only get to actually take 1. M+ drops are scarce and not very high Ilvl anyway, and don’t really count.

So, unless my math skills are very off, 2 or 3 pieces a week are more than 1.

Could we PLEASE go back to no rating requirements to buy/upgrade PvP gear? I do not have the time to push rating nor do I think it even qualifies as a form of “progression.” It’s for match making and bragging rights. I should be allowed to defend myself against players who happen to have high rating. It worked just fine in Cataclysm, MoP, and WoD. The small percent of players who bought carries shouldn’t be the only ones who can fight at their best. This isn’t PvE. Gear should be baseline for ALL PvPers to participate.

Sounds like you don’t really need high end pvp gear that badly then

Doing a single M+2 even longer than the timer is SO not the same thing as getting 1250 honor from rated pvp, unless you’re buying RBG carries.

No one likes to be chopped liver in the BG’s. Some of us still play those.

Then get the best gear you can for BGs by doing arena

Yeah. Youre right.

People with high item levels go into bg’s all the time. And in the world. Again, I should be allowed to defend myself just like I did back in MoP and WoD.

Feel free to play the way you want to play but don’t complain about not having all the cool stuff

Question… if you’re not pushing Rating in PvP… why do you need the better gear?

Serious question.

“Play the way you want but don’t complain that you’ll get one-shotted by people who bought carries.” No.

I am not repeating myself again.

Depends on how Blizzard wants to keep doing PvP.

I’m okay with the system as it is now, but I’d also be okay with a system that is basically PvP in a bubble. Completely different gear, PvP stats, the works.

But Blizzard today wants integration between PvE and PvP, so PvP needs a progression path that rewards the best players, like PvE, to be a viable source of gearing.

Otherwise… well look at BFA.

Which is why I think the best systems for PvP gearing were in MoP and WoD. It worked better when it was segregated completely. They’re two totally different paths that can’t be compared.

No, I think I will and so will 1000’s of other people who played this game when doing so was viable.

Look man it sounds like you just might not be as good at battle grounds as you thought

Your gear is weak, your playing a harder spec and you haven’t kept up with the rest of the player base

You have two choices, you play the game to become powerful so you can have fun, or you get dramatically better than everyone so you can out skill them by a lot but still more than likely won’t keep up after a while

Bro…you never even did RBG’s before.

What’s your point?

You’ve never killed 20 people in one battle ground with out dying

Something I’ve done more times than I can count

Wow, where to start?
I’ve topped dps in rated battlegrounds plenty of times whereas you have never done any. I didn’t want to go there, but that is all I am going to bring up on the skill matter.
Being able to fight other players is extremely gear reliant. It’s not fair to tell someone to just be ten times better when you are outgeared. I am asking for the return of the system in which anyone is able to fight. I have to ask, have you done PvP before Legion?
