Because they removed PVP scaling. people with Gladiator and Heroic/Mythic gear do Random Battlegrounds as well, and being in a fight where you can’t damage another player no matter what and they can one shot you using nearly any ability is not fun.

I am not sure why newer players just do not get this. There are countless memes and videos talking about just how bad WoW PVP got after Legion compared to how it used to be. I would not even have a problem with rating gating IF they did not have a low as heck conquest cap AND no scaling.

As a general rule, I would always like a balance between getting gear fast because I invest a lot of time per week, and getting gear faster than other people so that the investment turns into a power advantage.
Even though getting geared through pvp is not ideal in some ways, I love that we can upgrade our conquest gear as we reach new brackets. People who spam m+ cannot do that. Nor can people who raid. Both sets of people need to get drops to fall in their favor multiple times. I like the slower pace of acquiring conquest gear with the addition of the guaranteed upgrade system through honor.
Getting an upgrade through rare PVP tokens in BFA took way too long in my opinion. This feels much better.

The guy is legit calling me weak because I dont have one achievement that’s not even possible to get as a healer yet still having more kills, saying Cherby is bad while not even having half the rated achievements he does…
Sorry but no, because THATS what rating is for, when some guy who constantly acts nasty to players and talks down to, you can bring up the facts and be done with it.
But hey, if they want to NOT derail the topic by making it about “who’s better then who” I will be MORE then happy to have a normal conversation with them like I do with tons of people who disagree or agree with me.
