if you sat cr people would naturally pass you from inflation if you didnt q, but if you returned after a couple months and played youd have the benefit as well. it stopped people from sitting all season and not playing
not immediately no. if you sat at 2k mmr for 3 months and then came back your mmr would not be inflated to 2120 (+120 infaltion)

I have a screenshot of one of my shamans thay got 2800 week like 6 then didn’t q and was >2950 mmr when I queued again with lower cr mmr players than myself

are you dumb? is the r1 cut off being 300 points higher than every other season even tho the season was shorter not evident enough to you that the mmr was inflated?
what team did you beat / lose to in that screen shot.
if you were 2901 and beat a 3125 team something you can definitely q into, that means nothing.
