question for people who thinks they need to recraft. Why do you need to? You’re not raiding so chances are you wont get too many (if any) domination gears. You’re “casual” after all
The issue (for me at least) is that it’s a huge change for those of us who don’t always have time to sit down uninterrupted for a whole run. In old torgast, I could get up and use the restroom or answer my phone or eat dinner without affecting the outcome. Now, I can have a run that’s otherwise near perfect, but if I gotta go afk for 10 minutes it’s a huge penalty. I’d even be fine if they just made it so when you’re out of combat in a single player instance you could ‘pause’ somehow, have chromie show us and give us a bronze pause button or something if they gotta justify it.
Torghast never happened, there’s nothing to cancel. It was horribly received by the time it went live.
My Willy’s is in the wrong slot though…so I’ll have to re-craft at least that one…probably my Synergy too.
There is no wrong slot for that.
Unless you get really lucky and get your domination piece in the first couple of weeks you really don’t.
Just craft a new rank 5/6, it’ll save you gold. (unless that slot is cheap, cloth is so freaking cheap it doesn’t really matter, I bought rank 4 gloves today for like 4k)
I’m copying that as a new copypasta…
How are you guaranteeing that your domination gear drops immediately? Seems like a hack to me.
Next complain.
Torghast layer 12 is now tuned to require iLvl 252 gear. Yet there is no way in the game for solo players to get iLvl 252 gear, and Torghast awards no gear.
Torghast caters instead to Mythic raiders in their shards sets, and is a trap for solo players to encourage them to grind out the research tree.
You can literally ignore time and still get 5 stars…
I am being sincere here, but how would you get 200 points without the time-related bonuses? A screenshot of the score breakdown would really help make your case.
In simple terms? Casual players do not pad quarterly financials in the same capacity as hardcore gamers do.
The casual gamer maintains a sub, where as the hardcore gamer plays for a number of weeks, leaves, resubs when more content drops. There for the hard core gamer makes an impact on quarterly financials as a new MAU. This gives the illusion of increasing MAU’s, meaning increasing profits.
Of course when you look at long term financials it evens out. But to manipulate data for investor portfolio’s it works perfectly since investors are fed quarterly reports.
Can you even be considered a casual if you push keystone master?
I didn’t use Empowered on purpose for this run, but you can use that to replace the time bonus.
“looks at my 65 hours a week with a family and a 2 yearold”
Yeah its def an excuse.
Yes…Just because you only play a couple hours doesnt mean you are a bad player.
The majority of bad players use the excuse of “casual” as an excuse.
Have you ever considered that maybe some people don’t play video games for a challenge, and instead want to use it as an escape from the challenges of real life, and would like their game time to feel stress free and rewarding??
Then they are probably playing the wrong game. I play casually and still raid mythic so
Too many people use being a “casual” to cover up the real issue.
