That mentality is exactly what’s eating away at WoW right now. Along with dumb decisions being made by Devs trying to create a system that would’ve only worked in Vanilla WoW.

That is for both sides.
You can’t act like you have a moral high ground because there is no system that is fair and what everyone wants. There is no middle ground that can be had.
Countless people on both sides said why they wanted this system and power tied to choices or not. The changes you all want would make the game worse for me. That is a simple fact.
I call people out how I see it. The fact that he acted childish because I did not agree with him, and than talks about goldshire that implies that because I am on this server and a female. All I do in this game is erp. Shows that I was right about him.
You all can think what he wants. Here is the simple truth. I like the shadowland systems, and the rpg tied to power. What I do in the game does not matter, what you do in the game does not matter. You don’t like it. I respect that, but Blizzard said no, and it can get changed in the future. If it does, fine. I at least got a chance for awhile to play with the system I enjoyed. But you all want me to not even have a chance at all to play around with it at a release state.

Pleasing everyone is an impossibility, especially when most of the people who still support the current Covenant lock either do it out of a misunderstanding of the story or purely out of spite.
I don’t think Blizzard should design Covenants around either of those groups.

We probably should just actively start ignoring her because she is the exact reason the old thread got deleted because the exact same scenario happened.
She started rambling calling us kids, brats and children. We asked what content she was doing, she got mad. We laugh and thread got deleted.
She’s the perfect storm for a thread to be derailed.
No experience doing content, only talks about doing things in other games (Doesn’t like WoW but plays tonnes of FFXIV) and tries to belittle us by calling us kids, brats and children.
Just move on and pretend she isn’t here so we don’t have another thread toppled by her ridiculous antics.

My server, what I do in the game does not matter on what I enjoy with this system.
It is silly to think that because people raid or do mythic dungeons, Their voice on the subject matters more.
You haven’t explained how you being able to stick to one Covenant while I get to play with multiple hurts your gameplay. Because I’ve been able to name off multiple types of players who would be hit by their decision.

Smart play, I don’t really have any interest in this thread going away too. You have got to hand it for her though you could pay someone like her to go in and get threads assassinated by the mods.
Maybe people need to report for trolling since all she/he is trying to do is derail the thread .

If we could switch powers whenever we want. That would be yet another system to mess around with doing content. At the end of the day. It is still a game, and you are going to do things that give you a edge in said game. If I could freely pick the powers I want to do said content. I’m going to do it.
The next choice is to not have powers tied to the system at all. But than what would the point? Just a fancier version of the faction system we been had? So what would be the new system in shadowland? Nothing? Just join a faction for mogs, and story? That sounds boring to me. I want to look at another priest and be like. Wow unholy nova looks cool, kinda jealous of that…at the same time be like…well I made my choice and got something they don’t. So what others have does reflect on my enjoyment as well.

No matter what reasons I have. They are not acceptable to you. Just like the reasons you have are not acceptable to me. At the end of the day, we know what is fun and what we both want. Right now Blizzard doing what I want.
The thing is. This system is not always not going to be in the game, and it will change. So it is not going to kill wow, and for people who want to try the system blizzard way. Should at least get that chance.
So as i was saying, covenants looking pretty bad after the most recent round of changes to conduits.

Swap out talents with azerite traits, specs, corruptions, legendaries, or covenants. If blizzard stops trying to balance them and instead just pulls the ripcord, it will hurt my gameplay.

Honestly, gutting the actual class abilities and making Conduits the thing that make or break covenants is a pretty feelsbad outcome.
In the early stages of the expansion, degenerate strategies like going Kyrian because they’ve got the best Soulbinds and Conduits and then going what looks to be Venthyr once you’ve got more renown isn’t exactly the most appealing system.
Why do you think that Blizzard won’t abandon balancing Covenants like they’ve abandoned balancing every other system they’ve introduced?
There’s no reason to think that there won’t be just a best build and Blizzard balancing the class as a whole around that best build.
