#PullTheRipcord

What’s childish is how you pro-ripcorders have attacked anti-ripcorders for having a different opinion.

Not me of course, I totally deserve it, but i’ve seen you all rip into the civil ones.

I haven’t been fotm since Blizz broke surv in wod and turned them into melee.

Since then if anything my current spec mm has been the redheaded step child of specs from Legion on I don’t want to constantly adapt and I am not going to go fotm .

I just want a way to make my main toons (this and my Velf hunter) to actually feel fun to play . Any other toons I play are just because I am bored and want to do something different.

It’s people like me that are getting punished by your b.s. meaningful choice that really doesn’t exist not the 1% like Preach that you want to spite.

Once again if they had never said anything about abilities being part of the covenants , you would of not called them toothless and would of praised them as meaning rp choices. You say you don’t care about the 1% I’m calling b.s…

You care about them enough to enjoy a system you think will punish them but won’t.

You’re not being punished. It’s an RPG with choices and consequences. At least it should be. Not everything’s going to be available to you.

Do you complain about not being able to enter Stormwind on that orc of yours?

i get what you’re saying… but with this current system it clearly plays like a single player rpg… wow is not a single player rpg it is an mmo, loads of different people, with different playstyles, etc…
this system basically pigeon holes everyone where as the #pulltheripcord lets the player choose what they want to do… you wanna change your abilities? go for it… you wanna stick to rpg and keep the same covenant class ability? stick with it!
you do you boo

and lets be clear this system does not affect the 1%… they did island grinds on multiple toons… this is a cake walk… they will do it regardless… it affects the 50% of people who care about doing content in the game more than it will ever affect the 1%
you think having 4 alts is a hard thing for them? they always have 2-3 alts every expac, geared to the teeth
so who will it affect more… the people who only have 1 character with 1 option or the people who have all 4 options…

Once again you are only anti ripcord because of spite towards the 1 % and don’t care if average players suffer the consequences just as long as you think the 1% suffers too.

Because can you honestly say if they had only made covenants rp aesthetic choices you wouldn’t have been satisfied with that?

The “RPG Element” argument doesn’t even make sense.

Game already gas enough RPG elements imo. Like carrying hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of gold coins in our backpack. Bet thats about as light as a feather. Not to mention the hundreds of mounts in our back pocket.

The 1% does not care. They are used to torturing themselves to the top. It is the rest who are most affected.

Balanced dose not mean everything is the same, that’s a poor game development perspective.

Exactlly and that is what I keep trying to point out to Grymes

Damn y’all still fighting about this? Here’s how it’s going to go down.

Blizzard makes a horrible decision and gets tons of feedback saying it’s a horrible decision which they ignore and dig in deeper that they are correct.

Then their horrible decision hits live and people realize that it was a horrible decision and blizzard should have listened to feedback…again.

Finally blizzard changes it in X.1/X.2 and says sorry. Then they do it all again with the next xpac.

Want proof of this cycle just look at the last two xpacs. Now quit fighting over this because you all look dumb for not realizing the reality that blizz is dumb and dumb people will defend them no matter what reality is.

Bad example, I can enter Stormwind on this Tauren of mine.

Oh we know exactly that’s what is going to happen and we are going to make sure they keep hearing about it until the change comes.

We want to believe that if there was a unified front against horrible decisions instead of a handful of people wasting time playing devils advocate for absolutely no gain that it would had been faster to change their minds

That same argument could be used for flying. “Don’t want to fly, don’t do it, but let the rest of us fly.” as if it would really be a choice if flying was available.

If covenants were freely swappable, no one would respect the choices of those didn’t want to switch.

Yes it is a choice to not fly after you have pathfinder if you do not want to. Are you worried about peer pressure?

Why are you here then? By your own qualifications you look dumb for calling us out on how dumb we look.

Thanks for the bump though.

Because let’s be real, how would a raid react to someone who didn’t want to fly to an instance, but ride on a ground mount instead? Especially a raid like EP.

yeah… and i have some crazy friends that do that… just a couple weeks ago one of them told me that for shadowlands hes not gunna use his mount… that he wants the full rpg experience… i told him he was batsh*t crazy but again “you do you boo”
i personally dont want covenants to be swappable, i only want the class abilities to be swappable, im sure thats what most people want

They can always depart for their destination earlier to be there in time. Just like what we do irl when we expect a traffic congestion.

This reminds me one of the stories of Aesop about the fox that had its tail cut in a bear trap and in order to not feel bad for having no tail she wanted to convince all the foxes that they should also cut off their tails
