You do realize the real min maxers the 1% ers will not be affected .
They are already going to make 4 toons of the same class.
Average players that like to experiment with builds, players that play more then one form of content and players that play multiple specs are the ones this is going to hurt . In other words average players.
So I checked your armory and I guess from what you say since we have to pick a specific single covenant you better decide if you are going to use only ret or prot because under what you consider Blizz’s rules you can only be one of the specs.
Imagine if you and your brother had both . People here would probably call you a filthy min maxer

My brother does have both. Guess he’s the 1%.
Shhh don’t let Trollnechka know
Dont worry, druids best covenant is necrolord.
Once people realize the covenants aren’t all they were made out to be and their meaningful choice is meaningless . The forums are going to go up in flames faster then Teldresill.
Too sson ?

I mean, to be fair, taste is subjective. Also it does depend on your primary content for some classes.
My husband mains a prot paladin. Our preferred content is M+. Taking this into consideration, his best covenant is…you guessed it…Kyrian.
I just don’t get it.

The system doesn’t need balance. They just need to unlock all of the abilities and power off the covenants and make them a cosmetic choice.
But, they’ve taken upon themselves to deny the ripcord from being pulled (for now) to balance something that is nearly impossible to balance in all forms of content.

They can balance just about as good as a 20 y.o college male after a frat party
Not everything needs to be balanced. If everything was the same, we’d live in a very bland world.
Besides nothing has been balanced ever since Vanilla, why start now?
That’s what the whole ripcord thing is about .
We know despite what Blizz says about balancing the covenants we know their track record . Unlocking the class abilities so people can pick the ability for what ever content or spec they play would lessen the need for them to try to balance them.
If they keep them locked all their balancing will do is make more people mad then they would if they had just pulled the ripcord

What you don’t understand is that the “1%'ers” will not be affected by this system. They’ll have multiple of the same class for every covenant so why are you still so against it?
What I’m saying is that Blizz can leave covenants as they are, don’t stress too much about balancing, and also leave them locked. There have been unbalanced options since the beginning of WoW, and it didn’t stop people from having fun. They either adapted or just rerolled the FotM.
Because I don’t care what the 1%ers do. I care about a meaningful RPG style choice with real impact and consequences.
If the 1%ers want to torture themselves with leveling and keeping up with the gear on four characters, I don’t care, let them.
That’s not true. You’ve said you’re glad it “sticks it to the min/maxers”. It doesn’t so now you want to spout the nonsense about “meaningful choice”?

Kinda does if they think they have to level and gear four characters.
Back to “sticking it to the min/maxers”? I thought you said you’re glad you have a “meaningful choice”?
Druids can move faster indoors anyway.
It is really ironic that the Nature covenant is more suitable to non druids.
Druids will go Necrolord and the DKs will go Night Fae.
If that is not dumb shoehorning due to player power at the cost of aesthetics and themes then I do not know what to call it Blizzard.

Primarily after the meaningful choice. If it makes some 1%ers cry though that’s just icing on the cake. I’m tired of seeing them get their way in this game. They’re why we can’t have nice things.
LOL how childish. It’s funny that you think that.
