Funny thing; didn’t they panic and create Essences and Corruption just because people freaked out about Azerite?
They’re going to gut the entire system. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about swapping at all.

At this point I’m starting to be concerned for your own safety given how your brain doesn’t seem to work. Either the ripcord existed, and the restrictions could be removed so players could mix and match between them, or it didn’t and Blizzard would have to redo the entirety of the covenant system to do this. They are literally contradictory statements here.
So they’ll gut it entirely. Then no one can complain.
Not once has any Blizzard employee to any degree said that they would need to gut covenants entirely to uncouple player power with the covenant choice. You are literally pulling this out of your butt. None of the previous borrowed power systems needed to be gutted for Blizzard to fix them, and the fix for this one is incredibly easy.

Or they would simply gut the system, is my point. Why would they even bother redoing the system when making a choice is too much of a speedbump for #ripcordpullers.
Everything is tied to the Covenant abilities. Souldbinds and Conduits. So instead of redoing everything, flush it.
But they didn’t add onto it. Traits stopped at 8.2 and corruptions were the main driving force.
You’re not going to be happy until everything self-destructs.

Y’all I’m really concerned for sonicchu, I think they’re suffering from some sort of troll-induced dementia where they’re just inventing this scenario in which Blizzard would just remove the entire system, despite saying the opposite even if they did have to pull the ripcord, and them never doing so for any other borrowed power system.
