But would you be mad if someone else would change it’s race? Or someone else could change his covenant ability? Like I get it people like owning a certain theme. But how hard should it be to switch? How hard should you go out of your way to prevent other people from having fun?
Tons of choices have been made easier with years.
If anything this azerith gear mess and things they did recently that prevent you from playing your offspecs at the same level of your main is very disliked. This is the same.
Even gear is a choice if I get haste/vers for blood dk and I want to play frost I need haste/crit/mastery instead.
Even back in classic you had to choose between a weapon proc or secondary stats.
You are making choices every second you play the game from your talents to your rotation even and every one of them effects your performance in the next pull.
You may not realise that you have even made a choice but you do and every one of them has ramifications to the next period of time.
Some choices last for literally 1 GCD (do I aoe heal or single target) and some last for the life of the character (class) but they are all choices and the vast majority effect your ability to complete content. Stand in the wrong position early in a boss fight and you might be unable to avoid a mechanic that is coming
If Blizz were as good at paying more attention to player feedback as people here are good at tearing into each other with shivs made of words, we’d have one hell of a game.
Then again it’s the same every time: Feedback -> Debate -> passive aggressive comments -> Bickering -> personal insults -> Getting nowhere.
Reality is, Blizz are gonna do things one way, won’t take feedback properly because well the players are divided on everything and they will try their best to “fix” things as the expansion progresses, people will stop playing and by the time the next expansion after Shadowlands comes we will be right back here again. spilling more “I am right, you are wrong” vomit down our collective throats.
Sure people have been arguing like this since the game launched, but I don’t think the playerbase has been this divided in a while, if ever.
To be honest by the time I got to him I really didn’t need the gear either . There might of been something I might of been interested in but I most likely out geared it by WQs . I did however want to complete my quest with MAgni in the heart chamber . I did for a time want to do all I could to up my formless void essence or get echoes for specific corruptions.
Not because I had to have them but because I liked the challenge.
If you check my character I am actually quite casual nothing above LfR except 4 normal bosses in Ny’alotha, no mythic keys what so ever . Casual doesn’t mean I shouldn’t like making my toon as optimal as I can . Who Knows maybe some day I will get back into normal rading like i I did from cata -wod
And you’re pulling BS out your backside saying millions of people were crashing forums, well at least I hope that was bad sarcasm. On the other hand the game being fairly dead is not sarcasm, it’s real.
The thing is there was titanforging threads that were probably way more bad.
Because people bring logic, others bring hate some feelings.
No matter general discussion is one of the worse place.
But what is going right now in this thread I call it peaceful, you shoulve seen Ralph threads.
It’s called sarcasm - because if the Covenant system were as bad as y’all are making it out to be for the casual player, these forums would be FLOODED.
The game is usually dead right before the next patch; you must be new to this.
I’m not saying you can’t be as optimal as you want, but there’s more variety in Normal and Heroic raids than Mythic, so you can choose an off-meta build and still down Heroics.
Just looking at Logs shows have much a chasm there is between Heroic and Mythic. I doubt more than 10% of the entire player population even clears the first Mythic boss compared to the massive amount of players that can do it on Heroic.
This is turning into a pissing match of wasted time… People don’t want to listen to the other side and just want to Red Herring every point. Time to do something else.
