Well you are right, rerolling wasn’t the problem at all. That was the solution to the problem
Just because Blizzard added some things that made the lives easy for the top 1% so they would stop banging their heads against an invisible wall doesn’t mean your issue was “wide-spread” or even “common.”
Because it wasn’t…
That’s fine, you can live in your bubble of imagination, but when you are ready to discuss things properly like a sane person, then feel free, otherwise, I’d steer far away from this thread with your logical dishonesty.
Ahh.
Very hyperbolic and hypocritical.
I don’t agree with your narrative that you live in, so i’m “dishonest.”
OKAY THEN.
If the only solutions are dumping your character or ignoring it. I think that’s a design problem. I got prydaz as my first legendary and got the smallest possible increase to my role and I even missed out on the fun of getting the best legendary at the time before it got nerfed. Sure, maybe I only realize this in hindsight and it didn’t affect me much at the time as I was only a normal raider. It was still a problem that only had a reasonable solution added at the very end of the expansion
But those actually had clout. This is just whining for the sake of it. The requirements for re-joining a Covenant is minimal; a two quest, two week task that can be done regardless of content is extremely forgiving.
It’s different this time!
OK. How’s it going to be different. Are you saying there’s not gonna be sweeping buffs/nerfs post release? Because I’ll take that bet all day.
Game is tuned literally every expansion every patch since release.
Buffs and nerfs will never not happen…
Come on now.
LOL
- Covenants are not random. Conduits are also not random. (Legion Legendaries/Corriuptions)
- Renown practically falls from every source. Renown is mostly for non-progressive content. (Artifact Power/Azerite Power)
- Covenant abilities aren’t tied to gear (Azerite Gear)
- Covenant abilities can be easily swapped with the only requirement being time spent. (Azerite Gear Switching Specs)
- Shadowlands is the most alt friendly expac ever.
Covenants dont have clout? Then why do you think everyone is complaining about them being tied to player power?
The only way covenants don’t have any clout is if the abilities and soul-binds weren’t tied to them.
Don’t repeat the mistakes of BfA blizz.
#pulltheripcord
This Blizzard response is just simple stupid, here some example of this wierd filosophy, I´m in Legion, I get my artifact for every single class and now I have a new ability for every singe one of them, now lets say I have one talent I don´t like and want to change it for another that I like, but for doing that now I can’t play the Suramar campaing, now I have to spent al the endgame time in High Montain, but that ability is the one I like, is not the one that increase my DPS, and if want to go to Suramar I have to be forced to have one ability that I simple don’t like, this is just stupid AF. Having some mecanic gameplay be forced in how I play the endgame is retarded, I want to play in Ardenweald, but the ability for my class suck, and Ventyr is my favorite, #Blizzard the ability that we choose we see it every time we play, in every single part of the game, the covenant that we choose we only see it in the sanctum, and no more, if I go to raid, mitic +, PvP, world questing, or doing other stuff the covenant decision is always there, is not that simple, #PullTheRipcord please, i don’t want to be forced to play the ability I LIKE, in the campain I don’t
And people still want more and more. This isn’t Fortnite where they can just log in and do the content they want, then log out. People don’t seem to understand that we have character progression and power progression here. I am thankful that it turned out the way it did.
But we’ve been through this, covenant choice isn’t permanent. The min maxers still get out way, it’s just a slight annoyance.
Can you pleas explain how it was more alt friendly than WotLK, Mop (Okay the cloak was a little annoying) or WoD?
WoD is hailed as the greatest alt expansion for a very good reason.
Ah Yes Yesuna…
Anti flying, anti alts, anti covenant choice, anti choice, and pro Activision everything.
You are without a doubt a bitter dev locked behind a Panda troll account.
Anti account bound essences (???) , anti corruption vendor , staunchy pro-multi boxer.
Anti account bound essences (???) , anti corruption vendor , staunchy pro-multi boxer.
Ah true, list goes on and on. Quite sad really.
I can’t think of a single good point to have criticised account bound essences. The best thing is, much like covenants I started beating the drum for purely non selfish reasons.
I did the grind for my BIS essences on 4 separate characters. I was an informed complainer. Being anti account bound essences is… headscratching to say the least.
WoD is hailed as the greatest alt expansion for a very good reason.
Because it had nothing. Everything was gutted at the last minute, so of course WoD would be super alt friendly.
Shadowlands leveling for alts is different and more streamlined; there’s no gates behind legendaries; and the gear has been separated from non-player centric powers.
Alts can literally start getting Renown at Lvl 50.
Lol all this crying got nowhere. Try again next time!
