Do you just live in your own world where you make up the arguments that we say or what?
Nobody is asking to swap covenants, we just don’t want power associated with them. I want to pick one covenant i like (Kyrian) and stick with it all expansion.
I really don’t know how people talk to you, my dude. I’ve tried reasoning with you a million different ways, but there’s just no way to actually have a conversation with you. There’s no compromise, there’s no wiggle room. It’s just…your way or the highway. I suppose, since Blizzard is as stiff as you, it’s probably going to come to that for myself, and a lot of other players, just like it did in BfA. Congrats on winning, I guess? Your prize is a dead, empty world.
Being loyal when you have options is a bigger commitment for those that want the rp etc that being “loyal” when they have no other choices.
Being a loyal partner is easy for someone who couldn’t get a date anyway. Being loyal is more meaningful when other people want them too. Kind of a crass analogy but I think it works clearly.
And we’ve established this, in a world where swapping was the norm, no one is going to respect their choice to stay with one. They are just going to be looked at as the weird RP kid in the corner no one wants to play with and get rejected.
Not unless there was a tangible benefit to sticking with one.
And I’d like to repeat what was said a bazillion times. We aren’t asking to freely switch between covenants, only to separate the class specific abilities from them. It’s like you choose to ignore what we say.
Nope. People don’t get kicked for having the “wrong talent” often at all. 8 have don’t keys after raid with my accidental raid set up which is bad for keys. No none notices until I say something and laugh at myself for forgetting.
People do on the other hand not get taken because they are the wrong class “we need a rogue”. Class was ions example as the most perminant choice there is in wow. How can you (or he) argue that people won’t get picked or dropped based on perninant choices when he used class as his example and its the thing that gets discriminated on most.
Except it absolutely does. Do you keep forgetting that they’re all allied and just different branches of the same entity? The Necrolords faction we work with in Maldraxxus is allied with everyone else. Same with all the others. They’re all buds.
Instead if tying the reward to direct player power, I would give the players that are loyal other rewards - like bonus profession materials, potions/ flasks, etc.
Bastion. A flash of light and they teleport to a new location
Venthir. Teleport though mirrors
Maldraxus. Sink into a grave and rise in a new location.
Night fae. Dissolve into fae spirits and reform at a new location.
God forbid we can’t have a little identity in the game. Right now its covenants, but who is to say you won’t be coming for races, classes and specs next?
You won’t be happy until we are all playing faceless, shapeless blobs.
