Damn I didn’t know I was a shapeless blobs for all the years I’ve been playing this game.
I love the “It’s either covenants locks” or we are all shapeless blobs and there can’t be idendity. Or the other close one, it’s either covenants or all classes should be the same.
And the “we can let everyone switch but with a 10% power tax” just prove again that people are mostly fine as long as it goes agaisn’t min/maxing or gameplay, not because they care xd

We would have more identity of they separated the powers.
By tying them together it doesn’t matter what I identify with I will be picking what’s best. If they were separated I could identify with my covenant.
Well actually I won’t be playing until the ripcord is pulled but you know what I mean.
Well it’s Grymes. I can’t be bothered requoting him, but his entire motivation for being for locked covenants is because he’s buttmad that Titanforging got removed.

Oh yea titanforging was removed because raiders couldn’t handle other people getting loot.
Meanwhile people can’t handle other people switching covenants.

Yea I wouldn’t mind a quest line with each race where you can earn their respects etc and have the option of using their racials afterwards. It makes sense since w rhave killed old gods etc
It’s not a big deal to me since they are far smaller swings in power though sonim not at that high enough level that it matters for me.

Class + spec are the identity, talents+spells are gameplay.
Covenant, its story are the identity, abilities are gameplay.
